    Thanks for the comments. Ron I have considered your option and it is doable. I’m 5 hours away from my boat but plan on going to her in a couple months with several mount options and new Helix. My installer assured me we can make one of several options work. I found a fish mount kit and thinking the gimble plate might work and bolt on the mount Boone has.

    I used a Blue Water Super Rock to mount a 12″ Humminbird on my console. I used the Blue Water mount since it can be continually adjusted for the optimum angles. I think if you put the base on the left side of the flat area behind the wind shield it might work. You might need to use the 10″ or 12″ model. The graph will be low enough that it shouldn’t block your view.

    I bolted my graph directly to the mount. I did not use the gimbal bracket. That saves a lot of space.

    I like your idea. How did you mount to the solix? I’m getting a 10″ Helix , but don’t know if I can fasten to it. I have a 2005 Tahoe Q 4 fish ski with limited counsel space with windshield.
