I am looking to move the one that I previously purchased for my LX7 over to my lithium shuttle. I cannot get the freaking bolt off the the stock arm on the lithium shuttle. Anyone else switch this out yet?

You should be all set. I just moved my LX-7 over to the shuttle and love it so far. Just waiting on the lakes to start locking up.

I got mine delivered yesterday and mounted my LX7 to the unit. Very impressed so far in the weight reduction of the unit. I ordered it direct from rapala website and arrived 2 days later. One issue was that one of the three transducer tie down tabs was snapped off and laying inside the bucket. Not a huge deal, as it still holds the cable. I think I will be looking to add a cell phone holder for gps/ navionics to the unit.

Does everything you need to transfer over your LX7 come with the shuttle? Do you have to have a different power cord to run from the shuttle to the head unit?

I agree, as I have had the wired one since they came available. It would be nice to get rid of the batteries and also the chord on the shack floor can be a pain in the a##.

This thing rocks for a 1 man. It’s light and easy to load in/ load out. More than enough fishing room for 2 holes, little buddy heater, and LX-7. The only thing I did wrong was when assembling the shack and attaching the shell, I had all of the wind poles in when fully screwing the shell to the sled. Now when I flip over the shack with no wind poles installed, there is a gap in the front at the bottom. I will adjust this summer. You can take the seat out, but you cannot sit on the seat when it is removed. Picture a very light boat swivel seat. Very nice windows, zippers and shell material. Overall the best I have seen so far.

I was looking at the Eskimo Versa chairs they put in their new EVO lineup. Reeds had these for sale online, but not anymore. They sit high enough and are light weight and fold flat for easy storage in a sled.

This would be overkill for a one man as it will take up too much room and burn you out if your one man is thermal. I am looking for a little buddy heater for my one man thermal as even the buddy heater can be a bit much sometimes and I am always looking to shed weight and gear as much as possible.

100 bucks shipped to my door as I do not have a store close. You can still use the discount code to take an additional 20$ off. Cheapest I have ever seen one.

I also picked up some nice new toys. The deals were ok, but in the end probably could have received the same deals online. I picked up the 4 stroke honda 8″ that I could have had for the same price online and a new Otter hideout xt that was the same price online. But once you add in the taxes on both items, it really wasn’t a crazy good deal. All in all, I’m happy with my purchases, seeing how I would have bought them anyways. Like others said, crowded and needs to be moved to a larger venue.

Do you need to do the previous updates for the LX-7 before you do the newest one. I was a little gun shy and have not done an update to my system since I bought it.

Thanks PS0345, now I got it. Going to hit the show early do some walking around and then make some purchases. I am hoping that this thing is fully staffed with all the vendors present on Friday as soon as the doors open so I can get what I need while I am there.

I can understand Reeds and Thorne Bros. not coming over as they are from the twin cities area and hauling all of their gear to Deluth would be a lot closer, but Frabill and Eskimo are based out of WI. I would like to know if anybody there will be selling the LX7 as I am in the market for one, if not I will have to buy one online for full price. Last year I think they had some good deals on them, but I wasn’t ready to purchase.

I agree with you, I think the problem around Wisconsin is everyone is focused on deer hunting season around the end of October to the end of November.

Last year all the big name dealers were there eskimo, frabil, clam, reeds, thorne bros. I’m not seeing any of these guys on the vendor list. Found out there is a new show in Deluth, MN the same weekend. These guys might be headed there instead.

I have been using a 50:1 mix in my Eskimo mako auger and I am getting a build up of oil residue from the exhaust. I think my next batch will be Amsoil, and try a 80:1 mix.
