It’s right around $600-$700 per day, depending on when you go. All trips are a week long, and covers everything including raingear and boots. I think it cost around $750 to fly into Juneau and out of Petersburg. So all up I’d budget around $5K.

BTW- worth every penny! 2 of us brought home 177lbs of fish as “checked luggage”.

Remote parts of the inside passage in alaska on Wild Alaska Sportfishing and Cruises. 85′ yacht mothership, 4 decks, private stateroom, gourmet chef. Caught 27 different species of fish including a 20 lb Coho, 50 lb Ling cod, 110 lb Halibut. Even caught a halibut and ling cod on a Fly Rod!

Here’s a link to video on how to tie the FG knot – if anyone is interested.

I agree that the FG isn’t too hard, once you do it a couple of times. It is really low profile and can be reeled right through the guides and onto the reel without any issue. For me, it depends on the length of fluro leader I want and what I’m pulling with it on whether I use a swivel or the FG.

Is the Alberto knot the same as the FG Knot?

Thanks for the advice Guys – Vic at Anchor Marine is the guy! He’s going to get it done for about 1/2 the cost of the other guys and in 1/2 the time.
