Just pulled the trigger on a MAGS rod. I was debating the TUCR fusion or a MAGS and the price made the decision for me.

I have been using the TUCR Precision and its worked well. Ordered a Power Precision for just walleye. Looking forward to getting it in a few weeks.

I have the Eskimo rod bag. Holds 4 with storage for tackle as well.

Doesn’t look like Russel Marine or Precision Sonar have a glass screen protector for the UHD2 models yet. Anyone found an alternative for the time being ?

Anyone find a better soft bait binder for ice plastics recently ? Clam discontinued theirs. Nothing in the new catalog for this year replacing what they had.

I should have bought the UHD when all the box stores had them for $699. Seems like they burned through the inventory and they are all gone.

Is the Livescope plus bundle with the UHD2 the best bang for your buck right now? Running $2700-$2800 from some online retailers. I will just have an extra Garmin bag and pole that could be sold off for whatever someone is willing to pay. Seems like putting it together yourself is about the same price for the LVS34+Box+Screen.

My thoughts as well. There was rumblings of them not supporting the UHD one anymore, but Garmin keeps saying that’s not true as of now.

Is it really worth getting the UHD2 vs the 93sv for just ice fishing?

I got the HD Innovations Shuttle and Pole. Would definitely recommend.

Yeah many have canceled. Idk how many places I called. Had to be 20 and they are holding off or booked up. Tough year. Here in Iowa I’m not sure if we will get on ice in January.

Found an Air bnb not far from the lake. Plan on driving out to the house from there in a pickup or ranger depending on the ice conditions.

We are doing the same trip in January. Rented a cabin in Walker and then also an ice house. Should be a good time.
