The suspicious part of this whole thing is they reference excess inventory of unsold sleds. They switched to snow check only sales many years ago so if they only build what someone ordered that sled is sold
I work right next door, there’s a pile of crates in their lot at the moment.
November 16, 2024 at 7:45 pm #2299618I figured Dumba was gonna do something dumb tonight. I think lauko lost his footing more than anything.
Did not love the idea of having to of our defensemen out at the same time. Not a great idea already down brodin.
November 15, 2024 at 3:34 pm #2299441Any thoughts on how this might effect fishing the Canadian side of the Rainy River on the spring?
Should not impact us. Will still be able to boat across and fish with proper licenses, just still can’t touch land, anchor, etc.
Other note, if my jig can be dragging on the bottom, why can I not anchor???? Drives me nuts and asked the Ontario COs last spring. They didn’t seem to care nor even know that was a rule for us and told me to ask the border patrol guys.

My god how bad are the Nashville Predators right now….About as bad as the vision of the NHL linesmen that were officiating last night’s game in San Jose. How the hell could they miss those two blatent offsides calls that later canceled out Wild goals? Where are these officials coming from?
I’ve been starting wonder if refs are just not making close calls at the blue line anymore because they’d rather be wrong and a goal reversed than be wrong with the whistle and the play actually be onside resulting in a blown offensive entrance. The nhl does want more goals…
November 8, 2024 at 10:58 am #2298206Curious what everyone shoots at roosters?
I am a pretty big believer in 2 3/4” copper plated 6s. Usually I carry a 20ga but will take the 12 pretty much all of December – that’s when I break out the 3” 4s as my last few shots.
WPAs get blackcloud 4s all season.
November 3, 2024 at 7:41 am #22971533 of us got our 6 yesterday. Lots of points for the dog and plenty of birds flushing wild. We saw a pile, numbers are definitely solid in that area.
October 29, 2024 at 6:50 pm #2296444I don’t think sid did it but maybe. Still funny. Things escalated quickly with our patented secondary scoring.
Same thing happened last year, whatever is talked about here is likely to happen within a couple games.
October 28, 2024 at 6:00 pm #2296319I am hearing and seeing similar pheasant numbers to last year. Now that most crops are out I’ve been able to give a decent eval. Mayyyyybe slightly lower numbers but minimal imo.
October 26, 2024 at 8:29 pm #2296077Lotta sports happening these days so the World Series often gets overlooked unfortunately.
Tough to ‘cheer’ for either of these big money teams but I want nothing more than to see the Yankees get dusted. Walk off grand slam in game 1 was wild. First ever walk off grand slam in the World Series is hard to believe.
October 23, 2024 at 10:58 pm #2295606Ovi with an empty netter, 39 from tying the Great One…
He tried harder for that eng than he has since his last playoff game…
I know they don’t ask how, they ask how many but I just don’t like that he’s going to beat the record like this. He’ll keep playing as long as he needs to just to break it with empty netters. Not a fan of that mentality personally.
October 20, 2024 at 10:20 am #2294880Wallstedt with a rough night. I think that’s his first game of the year after bouncing around everywhere so hopeful it’s just rust.
October 16, 2024 at 11:35 pm #2294471It could be worse… we could be Colorado with zero wins or Edmonton with 1. But then we’d have to worry about making the playoffs.
October 7, 2024 at 7:36 pm #2292776Flushed 25 or so this morning in a few hours. First calm day in a few so they were moving.
Lots of old birds carrying over from last year but plenty of this year’s too. Not as many as last year in general but the few times I’ve been out have been good to me.
September 19, 2024 at 12:14 am #2289896There’s a few models lund made that are just so good. That model rebel and the pro v tillers both from the early 2000s are a couple of their best imo. Wish I could get a brand new one made the exact same right now.
Also currently have a similar era Yamaha 40 that I bought from here. Great motor. Great buy!
July 12, 2024 at 7:30 pm #2280803Pretty fired up too. Heading to Montana in early September again. Then it’s MN sharpies until the deer opener (idc about deer at all) which means time for roosters.
July 2, 2024 at 9:58 pm #2279655I’m gearing up for the Great Loop that’s called the Adventure of a Lifetime, I guess. Some fishing involved but that’s not what the trip is about.
Traveling down the Mississippi to the Ohio, then over to the Tennessee River to the Tom Bigbie which will plop us out into Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
Stick around Florida for a few months and hope to connect with a crazy Idoer down there.
In the spring it will be up the East Coast until I see the Hudson River.
I’m not sure of our exact route from there to the Great Lakes due to height restrictions.Hugging the East side of Lake Michigan until I can see Chicago, then down the Cal-Sag to the IL waterway and cross our wake at Grafton IL. From there it’s just a few days back up the Mississippi and settle in Red Wing again.
Lot’s of things can change, but the target date is Sept 1st 2025. Planning on about a year trip. I’m looking ahead, excited, nervous and stressed all at the same time.
I had a coworker just retire a couple months ago who is beginning this trip soon.
July 1, 2024 at 4:15 pm #2279402Peacock bass in the Amazon – an all inclusive type of trip.
DIY trips I’ll likely do in the next few years:
Shallow Pike in Sask or ManitobaChukars and huns in hells canyon – something I could see myself doing annually when I have multiple dogs.
Arctic char in the far north tribs – not sure how much you can DIY this trip.
Spawning brook trout when they’re all colored up in the fall in the Hudson Bay tribs
June 25, 2024 at 10:25 am #2278423That’s not much turnaround time for those two teams. They get what, like 2 months and change before preseason stuff starts up? Can’t imagine that’s easy for anyone needing something more than a minor surgery.
June 19, 2024 at 11:39 am #2277662From drought to flood! Good to see moisture return to the earth but feel bad for anyone with damage.
I think I was the outlier the last two summers. I loved the droughts. This rain is brutal.
June 11, 2024 at 10:26 am #2276640It is easy to say this one is over but so often we see the home teams win and the narrative changes again. I would not be surprised if Edmonton takes the next two at home.
With that being said, Paul Maurice has the panthers firing on all cylinders and the oilers have no answers. They are getting smoked – time for Knoblauch to make some changes.
June 8, 2024 at 7:10 pm #2276324I don’t suppose TNT will be getting any finals games. Bummer
Hoping this series goes 7. If FLA stays out of the box, they’ll take the series.
I’d like to see Canada win a cup again!!
