That may work up in MN. Down here where us folks with the most land and money get to make the rules we handle the situation differently. If you give one of your betters a good embarrassment you will be rewarded with a good thrashing…for the first offense. We also eat all the fish we can catch, if that isn’t enough to feed all our rich yuppie friends at the bar, we just take your fish away from you.

If you don’t use worm on the hook to lure their nose close, they tend to get hooked in the gut, this ruins the meat.

I have the same issues in my neck of the woods. The difference is that my lake is private and I’m a much more experienced basser than you. When I can find a hole in the vegitation that I caused with my fertilizer & Chemicals, I use a very small jig with a very large hook!! Put a small bit o worm on the hook, drag it slowly across the top of the pads and jerk as soon as it falls out of sight. They are mostly snagged but hooked in front of the gills, so it’s legal. Try It in a tournament, it works!!!

I of course make the best pizza. Sauce,crust,toppings….the whole deal. You peasant, will never reach my level, but keep trying…..those who eat your miserabale attempts will at least be full

I could add more, but see no constructive purpose in pointing out the penalty our children pay for our mistakes. Rest assured parents, your daughters and sons need and want your guidence.
