I called and I am on the list. I am planning on making the meeting. Good luck to all, I hope the fish are snapping.

john, chriss, and all, fishing was tough on the lake for me as well. any guesses as to why? I noticed that water temps are down 5 degrees or so from past years based on april 16th. I also did not find the same amount of baitfish I normally do. They must have moved and took most of the fish with them. chriss I had water temps in the 44 degree range on the channel and mid 50’s in the backwaters. cu fishin

hey guys I think it is a marketing ploy like others have said. As far as the in the stores, it will never be enough!! As long as we keep looking, talking and buying someone will keep making new baits. On an individual basis I like to stick with what works for me. Like Tim said too many baits might lead to less confidence. I know I will not use some of the plastics in my boat, but I keep them there just in case my fishing partner slays them on something I am not using. By the way have you guys found times when color and bait makes a big difference.

I think of scents similar to the way I do color. Sometimes it does not matter and sometimes I think it matters a lot. I do like scents and use them 75% of the time. I have had similar exp. where I had no bites then put on some scent and get bit. Also I wondered about taste and smell. Maybe the fish do not smell them but taste them long enough for me to feel the bite.
How long does the scent last? maybe 15 – 30 minutes?

great info, plus I suppose those would work on a champion as well. Is there a number or info on anyplace a guy can get those items? The price seems reasonable an it may save a slight headache or two. thanks

many people put a lot of time, money and effort into finding fish, I think we can all understand why all information is not just given away. Some people might join a club and expect the others to tell them everything. But it does not work that way, nor should it. Most of us are in fishing for the long haul, and should plan on learning a little every year verses being told all of it by someone else. I also think that the general ideas we find here are somewhat helpful. e.g. I had a few bites in water temps that were 44 but no bites in the morning. By the way I have gone bass fishing once this year and had no bites in water that was 43-44 degrees. Hope to see you fishing. -jeff

You can say that again! they should of had more coverage of jimmy and more coverage of fishin. Give me a break who wants to watch bryon and shaw say blah, blah, blah. and then they kept showing the same thing over and over.?? I don’t know, maybe they thought joe bb fan only saw a half an hour of the show and they were trying to cater to them? anyway I did not like the coverage. (but it was better than nothing, i think) With regular tournaments BASS has done a better job showing fishin not just talking. espn will be getting a suggestion letter. anyway way to go jim j
