Great info! Thanks for sharing. I make it through Sauk Centre once in a while, never heard of Fletcher’s, but will make it a point to stop there next time I’m in the area.

Bought some at Running’s in St. Cloud today. Thanks for the info guys!

There’s no area on your profile. Where do you normally fish?

    McLeod and Meeker counties usually.

Thanks, good to hear they are still around. Will find some this weekend in my travels…skipping fishing in the Arctic blast this weekend, but will have plenty of miles in looking at homes to buy.

We, as in current TUCR customers / rod owners and avid icefishermen on this forum. I assure you, I have no affiliation with TUCR other than being a completely satisfied customer.

I actually have several of their rods. This last order was a 32″ dead stick and I currently have a 32″ quick tip on order. As for you Marcum12, which rod to order really depends on your style of fishing and what species you target the most. If you are looking for an all around multi-species rod that can be used outside for hole hopping or inside a shack, I would go with a 32″ Precision. 2nd choice would be a quick tip or bullwhip. You could also call the guys at TUCR and they will steer you in the right direction as for which rod is right for you, your style of fishing, species, etc. The more we know about you, the better the rod recommendation will be.

So I pretended today that I too have a wonderful fiance and went for the 32″ split grip. She may be imaginary, but she loves me! Back to reality…my wife may or may not know about this purchase. Anyway, 32″ was my original thought for versatility (inside the house, or hole hopping). The rod will get more use this way. Was second guessing due to the fact that you sometimes lose a little workability with a shorter rod. Thank you for all of your help. Hopefully TUCR doesn’t come out with another rod anytime soon…my wallet hurts! Thanks again guys!

Thanks for the input guys. I am now leaning towards the 38″ w/8″ full cork handle. Bigger fish, bigger rod, right? This will be a hole-hopping rod anyway. I think this will be a great set-up for a 1000 series Shimano, with heavier line.

Congrats on the new location TUCR’s. You guys have earned your fan base with quality product, fair price, and excellent customer service.

Wow, I just received my new hoodie in the mail today. I just ordered it 2 days ago. It is by far my new favorite hoodie! I am 5’11 and a 1/2″ with an athletic build (beer belly, broad shoulders, and what once was decent pipes) and 225 lbs. I ordered the XXL due to any possible shrinkage issues, and I don’t like my clothes to fit snug. I too plan to layer underneath as needed. The size is perfect for me. Thanks for providing us with a top quality product. Get well soon buddy!

How about an IDO ice fishing re-run marathon weekend. So much better watching on a 55″ tv than a computer.

anyone know how much weight the upgrade will add to the lx7? I was planning to upgrade cameras this year, this just might be the ticket!
