    Just so I understand, MN license holders can legally fish the WI side (now that it’s open) and follow their regs, despite fact that MN side not currently open?

    It was pretty slow. A few small walleye, one keeper, and some sheepies.
    Nice stay down there though, and great weather.

    Not sure it’s safer current wise btw DT Minneapolis and Ford bridge during higher water (than below dam), but it’s good smallie fishing. You can launch a kayak on the west bank by the riverboat cruise operation across from the U.

    Thanks. Yep mid summer starting at hidden falls is not too bad heading to the dam. I was wondering a bit more about south of downtown. I do have a small gas motor, but like to go without it when possible.

    Yep. Perhaps a bit ambitious chasing walleye + kids. Will set up a couple
    for jigging and slip bobbers. Thanks.
