I’ve been there twice, went fishing both times. Booked out of the resort I was at. Caught bonita, skipjack. One gal in my group reeled in a wahoo. The guys on the boat got really excited about that. Both of those boats brought us to an out of the mainstream beach restaurant where the fish were cooked up and brought out for our lunch. It was not a very serious fishing outing but a very fun day. I kept a card that a serious fisherman I met had gone out on and did well. Big Ben sport Fishing. Look up @Bigbenixtapa on Tripadvisor. He runs three boats. [email protected]

I do too. I’ve received compliments on my turkey for several years using this brine. You can sort of clean out the produce drawer when making the vegetable stock part of the brine. Fold over a piece of alum. foil to make a triangle, place that over the breast of the bird when roasting to slow down the cooking of that part. The legs and thighs will cook to a higher temp and the breast will cook to a lower temp.

That looks like a power washout spot to me. He focused the wash wand on the berry spot for too long and cut through the green surface of the concrete. I’d rather have had the berry spots. The concrete may not have frozen but in cool overnight temps under blankets the surface was not set enough to resist the powerwash. I’d avoid road salts on that slab until next summer. I am in the old school group but late Dec. is not a good time to place ground slabs. Ground temps are near frozen, six inches of concrete doesn’t generate much heat when its curing. It’s not gaining any strength this week with the temps below freezing day and night. Put the blankets back on. I’d wait to pay in full if you can.

The post above me is right. Contact the Ready-Mix supplier.

There are mortar repair products in a caulking tube. That would be the cleanest method rather than using a trowel and tuckpoint tool.
I’d look at the top of that chimney. That type of cracking could be from water getting in from above,freeze/thaw. The chimney block in your photo look like they have some large open pores. Concrete block is not waterproof, it can soak up some water. Seal the top, fill the cracks and then apply a clear penetrating sealer to the chimney walls where the cracks are.

My Helix 7 did that as well in my Lund when wired into the panel. I redid the power source direct to the battery. Haven’t had it shut off when starting the motor.

It’s great on a certain type of carp in some of our river systems too.

I am an alumni of North Dakota State University. Part of the freshman P.E. requirement was a short ROTC introduction. During that time we got to shoot .22 rifles in the basement of the old fieldhouse. My roommate and I did that several times after the ROTC intro was over. I’m sure no state university campus today has a shooting range in the fieldhouse.

The St. Cloud Sportsman Show is this weekend. The Boat Show is Feb. 13 to Feb. 16. Both held at the convention center downtown.

Well said mnrabbit. I’m an alum and I hear many fans eagerly stating after a championship that it’s time to move up, we can take on Ohio, Michigan, Alabama. Many of them of course do not know the facts as you have listed them. Your paragraph about the FCS teams that have gone to FBS lists some teams that NDSU has met in the FCS playoffs. NDSU fans should remain happily restrained about the team where it is. The tailgating at a home game is amazing and wonderful. A winning team insures that will contnue.
FYI The next game for NDSU is at this years Rose Bowl winner, OREGON.

If you like the songs of the Beach Boys, look up The Fendertones on YouTube. They’ve got several good covers.
Dwight Yoakam does a good Sloop John B also.

Here’s my 7 DIY shuttle. It fits in a smaller pail I have with a screw on lid, pretty safe to travel with. I used an idea from hntfshtrp and put the wiring on the shuttle. Battery is flat on the bottom. Plywood with a coat of poly. I previously had a similar setup for my Marcum. I too do not like fishing on my knees. My Helix will set on top of the pail while in use. I’ll put the ducer in a foam cup attached to the bottom and will need some cord management yet.

I have a Frigidare Professional Series gas 30″ wide, I like to cook and I like this unit. 5 burners on top w/ cast grates, 2 high output, two medium & 1 simmer, a convection fan in oven, electric warmer drawer on bottom.

After James’ answer I looked it up. Silver Lamprey. Native to LOW,Rainy River, and Red River. I did not know that. I’ve fished there for walleyes several times and never encountered a lamprey.

Great Show! I am wondering though– What made the wounds on most of the fish? What is in LOW waters that would do that?

Rance makes an aluminum with plywood deck, stowed ramp can be used on rear or sides, bigger tires than a tilt bed snowmo trailer. Pulls nice. Plenty of tie downs for other uses than ATV. Anoka or Princeton dealers listed. The post above me is right. Road salt/slop will get the rust started on an ATV.

I’m getting kicked right now too. This is a few weeks later than usual for me. I work outdoors and needed to find something. I take an over the counter med called “Chlorpheniramine Maleate” dries me up for 3-4 hours and does not make me feel tired. Walgreens sells it under the name “Wal-Finate”. Good Luck!

Construction jobs are tough to come by, but I want no part of that repair job. I’d get my name in the paper.

Devils Lake is not a station that they spend much time at. You may find that when you return,(midnight) no one is working at the station. All dealings to board there were with the onboard conductor. That large area for bags could be full,,, then you haul it up the stairs.

I rode the train to DL and fished out of Woodland Resort two years ago. Your Plano may fit their guidelines but it may prove to be cumbersome for you. You have to haul your gear yourself and keep it with you on the train, it does not go to a “baggage area” The stairs and walkways to the upper levels of the train are pretty narrow. Hauling it up to the seating area and then back down and out when you arrive will be tough on you. You do not get a lot of time to do this move either. There was a lot of open room on the train once seated. I went in Feb, and there was plenty of room in the car I was put into. Good Luck.

I do not believe you can get just “The North” any longer. The app store site for Navionics lists only the US Lakes or US & Canada Lakes and several foreign choices. It further states that all the lakes have been consolidated. Newer updates to the app will only work on the consolidated version. This is pretty recent info. I just bought the “USA” app yesterday and downloaded the PDF user manual.

Frank M. was too honest in some of the things he said this year with the Gophers in a “down” year. Lucia also did not like some of Frank’s comments. I can’t hardly believe how anyone could be more than Frank,,,, but FSN wants more of a Gopher Homer calling the play.
Frank was on Reusse’s radio show a day after the announcement, He did not rip FSN, pretty classy for a guy 24 hrs. after being fired.
