I typically dont use the rear livewell for fish, I like the fact that the front one will completly drain when on the water. When I have my boat in the water for a week straight on a trip, I like to be able to drain the water, the rear livewell doesnt allow me ot do this so I would just like to keep it completly dry and use as storage / cooler…..any ideas / suggestions from other Dominator owners out there?

Put a elbow in overflow hole and turn it up

No sir. Bit I would think Yamaha would make it a priority to develop their own tiller steering system. This has been since 2009.

Had it it got nixed in Japan

Suzuki? That’s too bad. I have, and do, run Yamaha outboards, but I bought a new Suzuki 200hp 4-stroke in 2008 (though I’ve since sold it with the boat it came on) and it ran smoother and quieter than any outboard I’ve ever owned or seen.

From what I have been told the Suzuki outboards and motorcycles will not be going away. It appears to be more about the automobile side of things.

It is just the Auto division the outboards and bikes are the profit side of Suzuki being a new dealer they say all is well on outboard !!!

Has anyone else had issues with the seats on there Skeeter? My captains seat is completely “mushrooming” down on the sides after only a little over 1 year of use. The other two seats seem to be holding up ok, but mine is shot. Now I am a big guy, about 250, but still, only 1 year? I’m not even sure if there is warranty on the seats? I bought it used in the fall of 2010, only been used on 2 fishing trips when I bought it.

So does anyone have any suggestions on a new better quality seat?

Send it in for warranty not a problem Skeeter will cover it !!!

U have a loose ground some where either on battery or motor it is grounding through the grounding straps, always hook the ground up first or it will try to ground through the little straps and burn them up!

Seems price on everything these days is going up: electric bill, gas, rental car places charging 9 dollars per gallon to refill your rental car (that was on Good Morning America this AM)—-only problem is, incomes are NOT going up. Going to be a interesting summer. On an upnote, sounds like this MX is going to be one HOT machine and hats off to the Skeeter Boat Center in seeing this new rig to reality!

Wow u think they did the MX all by there self, they have been in the boat bussiness for 3 years ,Skeeter is smarter than that lots and lots of differant input from all differant types of fisherman including Bass, Muskie, Walleye and so on. Its going to be a great boat at a great price !!!

James is right I’ve had the drawings in my hand for a year, they get lots of input and then tweak from there. This is going to be a great addition to the Skeeter line-up at a great price!!!
