In my limited experience with air hammers you can’t feather the trigger, they are all or nothing. A rivet gun with a good trigger you can start slow. My Cleco 5e gun you can actually feel the individual hammer strikes and then slowly go to full power. Maybe there are air hammers out there that work that way but I’ve never used one. He can try the air hammer but chances are the rivet will toe nail. Another option is to use a rivet squeeze, but I doubt he has the tooling. What rivet material are you using, if they are soft enough an air hammer will probably work. Regardless, I would try the 3/16″ and only go to 1/4″ as a last resort.

A 3/16 rivet hole is normally drilled with a #10 drill bit. As long as you can fill the hole I would use a 3/16 rivet. Just make sure you’re on the rivet straight and start slow, you wont be able to do that with an air hammer, you will need a 4X rivet gun.

I was in the Army and have no problem with him flying his flag at night unlit. I do have a problem with a Packer flag on Red Lake.

I can ship, it’s 10 years old I believe. Bought a new transducer last year after I let the original freeze to the ice and then stretched it out.

Looks like this thread has collected some dust. Question for anyone following this thread:

Looking at running various runs of Sufix 832 Advanced Lead Core 18# test on a Shimano Tekota LC reel.

    I’m stuck between a Tekota 500LC and 600LC.

In some instances I could be running 10 colours, with hopes a 30lb braid backing and 20′ long 17-20lb Sufix fluorocarbon leader. Has anyone attempted this scenario on a Tekota 500LC?

That’s a lot of reeling running ten colors, the 550 would be similar to the 27 Sealine and the 600 is similiar to the 47. Line retrieval per crank are the same, so personal preference. if your salmon fishing I’d go with the 600LC, walleye the 500LC.

I know several guys that run this reel >>> leadcore reel

This is the post I was trying to quote. I run the 27’s for lead and the 17’s for mono. I have never had any problems running 10 colors on the 27’s.

I think he was trying to post a link from a Star Tribune article from a year or two ago. I remember reading one where Hmong anglers were requesting the DNR stock more lakes with white bass. Check MN DNR web site, I think they did stock some lakes around town.
