No lost doggies. I personally think that dog saw my rig and thought “look how well he takes care of that rig, I bet he’ll really take care of me”.

Your evenings open? I’m 5 minutes from water now.

A tad north of SW. Notice she took a dump on my pants. Guess I deserved that one.

You interested in a outing? I just bought a home in Stillwater and will be moving that way early August. Now I won’t have to drive an hour to get to the Croix. I’ll be 5 minutes from my boat and 15 from work!

Hey SteveO. I remeber that. Never caught a dog fishing before. I’m glad he made it home to his family.

I’m lookimg to get my boat launched by April. Have to have some work done on it first. It will then be brought to it’s new home at the marina.

Let’s hook up this spring. You can give me a tour of pool 2 and some advice.

My boat is a older 20 ft. pontoon with no furniture or front fence. Great boat for a guy who uses a chair to get around. Trolling motor on the front and 40 Honda on the back. Most folks love fishing from it. It moves pretty good and gets me around. I love that Honda, I put about 700 miles a season on it and she pures like a kitten. The boat has lots of room and has turned into a real work or art.

I go out Saturday to check out the marina to see if it’ll work for me. River Heights Marina. If it works out I think I’ll try pool 2 for a season. Mostly catch and release guy so it won’t bother me that I can’t keep anything from pool 2.

How is pool 2 for trolling? I love to troll but am adaptable to pretty much any kind of fishing.

Believe it or not, I’ll mish the wake action on the croix. I’ve had some of my best fishing right in the middle of all the boats/wakes etc.

    Thanks for all your opinions.

Those are the replacement docks for Sunnside’s dock rebuilding. They are being assembled in the water and will replace the old docks once all the boats are removed for the season. The old docks will be removed, and the new ones put in place by winter. I believe Max Todo marine services will be doing some of the old dock recycling/removal.

We’ll get out again. I think we would have done better if we didn’t spend so much time saving ‘chino’ from becoming a drowning victim and finding his owners. I hope they get some tags on his collar and keep track of him in the future. I’m glad he found his owners. Thanks for taking him to animal control. Good ending. What a great dog however. So well behaved. I went home and looked at my dog and said “what’s your problem?”

Anyway, We’ll hook up soon. We can do much better.

Went out both Sat/Sun. Saturday had lots of action with 4 legals and a bunch of legal wannbess. Whitebass added to the fun. Fished way north of stillwater working the holes and paid attention to the current. Seemed to be where the action was. Sunday was much slower. Worked on my wind boat control mostly. Still fun. Two legals. Good opener all in all.
