My first year owning a 4 wheeler. Everything is new to me. I have a 12″ clearance on it so Im thinking I should be able to get around pretty good until we have 2 ft of snow on the ice. About a foot now but will be close to 2ft by next weekend. Thanks for the info guys!
Thanks again for all the great ideas guys! Ill let ya know how it goes down the ice this season. First test will be on Saturday. Good luck fishing to all!
Thanks alot guys for all the great info! I’m going to try and start it up ever couple hours and put atv cover on it. Plus charge battery good nite before. It’s a newer battery but I like the idea of 2 batteries or just one big one.
Very nice fish and thanks for the great info. Im going in a couple weeks. Be staying in steamboat bay at a friends house. My first time on leech. Hoping to get into a few fish
I just rebuilt my auger’s carb and put new spark plug in and fresh 91 octane with some amsoil (first time user of amsoil) and it started and ran like it did when i first got it. I have a strikemaster auger and got my parts from drockicecenter.com. hope you get it figured out
I was thinking he was done making videos too but I think this is the first one of the year. Great info on catching different species of fish and catches some pigs! He is also funny to watch. I need to go to Canada again. A lot less pressured bodies of water. I’ve learned a lot over the years from James and his staff and also uncut angling. Thanks to all for the hard work!
for me what works after dark is any jig that glows. crappie minniow hooked thru the back fin but to where you dont kill it. smaller bobber that doesn’t take much to sink. mostly dead stick it but every once and a while jig it and let it set. good luck out there!
sticky traps in and around the boat. put some bird seed in the middle of the traps or peanut butter. had the same problem this summer. worked for me any way.
over rated and way over fished! the size of fish in that lake has slide way down hill the past few years. it gets pounded and like was said over harvested for sure.
you have a better chance at catching pike. i fished lake zumbro for 7 years now and only caught 1 muskie about a 20″ i have buddies who have fished it there whole lives and never caught 1. I was panfsihing and just got lucky. just like walleyes out there, it just happens. at least thats my experience. below the dam like you said you have a better chance. good luck though you just never know.
i guess the old saying is true: “never leave the game to the officals” im not a pack fan but i have rodgers for fantasy what a joke, the offensive line isnt good either. C’MON MAN! poor rodgers was running for his life last night!
did you get a boat number? you were proably just in shock to what was just happening before your eyes. nothing worst then low life scum. take what hard working people have earned, just isnt rigth.
