I forgot to mention, There are very good payouts to the fishermen ususally thru 15 places..with 1st place around 1200 dollars..however everyone leaves with door prizes, typically included in the entry fee, besides a very good dinner..a PBO cooler cup, a pocket knife kinda thing, or a flashlight..things like that..The raffle has a ton of great prizes..hope to see u there!!!!

June 12, 2011 at 2:23 pm #972771some results were sent to me..as follows:::::The Pooh Bear Open was held Saturday June 4th on the Mississippi River in Red Wing area pool 4, as a joint effort by the Martin family and the Red Wing Wildlife League. Seventy boats participated in the tournament with 30 boats weighing in up to five walleye and sauger combinations. The winning team had four walleye tallying at 15.02 lbs. Congratulations go to Roger De Rock and Dave Anderson on their first place and to the Hemmingsen team who’s second place weight was 12.06 lbs. The largest walleye was 9.04 lbs. caught by the team of Mike Johnson and Darin Swager. Tournament payout was $2900.00.
June 6, 2011 at 11:29 am #971166I apologize, I do not know much of the results except I know the weights were way down! 15 pounds (ish) took first place..My partner and I took 11th, with 9.08 So, as you can tell there were many with 9 or 10 pounds, but nobody had the typical holy cow stringer! I know there was a little over 70 boats..and it was a perfect day for fishing! Thanks to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Scott Loer

April 1, 2009 at 10:59 pm #764884Hey guys..I’m not on the site too much, so I will try and answer questions quickly, The Issaac walton where they will be doing everything is near Colville Park..just to the north and before the power plant..in “the little river” on the MN side…If you are at the marina just to the north of colville park, you can see the Issaac walton from there..It is VERY easy to find..I know all the invitations that were sent out had a map in them..as it was a change from previous tournaments..using the contact info from above would get you a map sent out..if you still do not know where it is..or call me..952-210-3803
