Boat must be properly strapped to the trailer for them to work.

Its kind of a mute point. But you think a couple little straps can hold an 1800lb boat from bouncing on a trailer?

Do yourself a favor and watch them on a rough road and then ask a structural engineer if the geometry is even effective.

That being said. I think they work fine but others are better.

What protects the transom when your haulin azz and jumpin waves?

I have read they do more harm than good. Just following them down a bumpy road you can see the boat and trailer bounce separately causing more stress on the transom.

those holders look great. I would have to mount them to the boat with a couple of bolts, screws, or at a minimum some kind of C-clamp, but otherwise a great looking rig.

    Thanks for the pics.

Most bass fisherman dont want to drill holes in their boats.(I know, babies) But maybe a ratchet strap around the battery compartment lid would also work.

    Thanks for the pics. NB.

I think they have to over advertise to make up for something. Kind of like Toyota, Daiwa, and Ranger boats. If you take an average product and push it on people it will sell. They are a good bow but nothing special.

How about Frogzilla fished through the reeds. Or a jitter bug real late or early. I only get up to LOTW once a year but these have been best for me.

About that elk…. I had a nice 6×6 at fifty yards. So i draw my bow and wait for him to turn broadside, and i accidently hit my release. The good news is my arrow hit 10 yds. short.

I used them last year on 3 deer with no problems. The only problem i had was stalking elk, if you barley touched the razor on a weed it would “un-lock” the blade. This could be a big problem if you didnt notice and tried to shoot it that way.
