thanks everyone – tried all you said – tore it down to nothing, found nothing, put it back together and nothing. Went out an bought another – was in a hurry my daughter wanted to fish – bought something pre-spooled and my word did nothing but untangle lin – oh well respooled tonite with good line

i did get out on saturday – most of day til dusk

caught 1 keeper sunnie — and of course being the rookie — i had 2 real nice size crappies to the hole and lost them — was fishing boat launch side and walke to the mid east side of lake

this last post i’m interested in – was talking to a Gander employee on tipups w/ treble or quik strike rig and needing a blade/spinner to make legal — his response was no – it is just there for better presentation…whats the right answer ?

hey all – need some help also
just started ice fishing again – not since i was a kid
so instead of buying new – i went with a used Jiffy auger style# 30 – guessing it to be about 3-4yrs old –
I had it out first time last weekend and found some of the same issues stated here – cut thru quickly til got to the last inch or so and binds up. Can any of you help – any suggestions onsomeone that can look / service these in the metro (prefer south metro) I understand it could be bent or some ripper mounting issue – i’m a rookie and could use some advice
