The only problem i have is a little rough idle. The local boat dealer told me to use yamaha ring free. I think i will just use the sea foam.

not sure on your model but on my dads caftsman the key has two different running positions. you have to be in one our the other for it to cut in reverse.

thanks for the help so far. I cleand the tb i sprayed bake clean every where and it does not change. the throttle is not sticky. one thing is if i unhook the battery for a while then hook it back up and start it it will idle like it is suppose to untill i step on the gas then it stays at a high idle.

I should of added that ive checked for leaks tryed a differnt cap and wires are all right.the thing that is wierd about this is that the missing comes and goes it seems to miss for 2 3 days then clears up and rungs good for 2 or 3 days. i have talked to mechanics that i know and there boggled by how it can come and go like that.

I do let it warm up a little but i dont think it should be hurting the mileage as much as it is. I did have a code in it last summer wich was the second bank o2 sensor. we cleared that code and it has not come back on. some one told me that the vortex has to run right at 190-195 our it will get bad mileage. I have put three thermostates in to get it to run hotter but the gauge still reads undet that so i think its just temp switch out gauge not reading right.

the guy bought the land and pays his taxes as long as he did every thing within the law he should be able to do what he wants. and every thing you say you do on that land seems to be for your own gain. do you help the guy out with work he needs done around there?

that sucks i hope the guy lets him in. unfortunatly in wisconsin landowners dont have to let you in and the warden or county sherrif cant do any thing about it. that is deffinetly one law that should be changed.
