Got out on pool 2 by the confluence for 2 or so hours mid-day with the pregnant wife… caught a few nice walleyes pitching to shore with some of those Soturi jigs and my own soft plastic creations! Solid day!

New poster here- wife is pregnant and I have a new boat I need to get on the water. Are there any boat launches on Pool 2 or elsewhere on the river that are friendly for a single person to launch/pull from? Looking to go tomorrow whenever, wherever. Just havent heard much on water levels, docks, etc.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Has anyone been out recently? Water temps? Tactics that are working? I was out last Friday and a jig and minnow seemed to work the best.

Similar question as Jayson- pretty new to the river walleye fishing. At this point in the summer have the fish mostly moved down to the big water on the Croix or can you still pull some out of the areas north of Stillwater? This is how it tends to go down in the Lake City area, anyways.

How high is the water? Only have a 12V trolling motor and am wondering if I stand a chance of locking on a spot tomorrow.
