I have that insurance. Probably never going to need it but you never know. Our utility company provides similar coverage for water and buried electrical service. It’s mandatory and the charge is on your bill every month.
People in the business tell me that the most common break occurs in water lines.
I have a 23 year old Aqua VU.. It still works great. I use it to find gear people lose overboard and to examine certain rock piles.
But…. I got more use out of it 20 years ago when daughter, husband and infant son moved in with us while they were in the process of moving to town. We used it as a baby monitor! Yep put that thing on a dresser and watch the little guy sleep…
I love feeding birds. Especially the various woodpeckers. I pay a price tho. One pecked a hole thru a 1″ board on my gazebo. And a couple others tag teamed and put big holes in a trim piece on the front of the house. It is made out of some type of compressed material not wood.Maybe they didn’t like the food.
I have fished both Lac Seul and Gull Rock in the last few years. Lac Seul is a bit busier but so much that it hurts the fishing. The size profile for the walleyes on LS continues to be very good and larger than Gull Rock. That said I fish Gull Rock for its trophy Pike fishing. Usually fish walleyes when we want a meal.
I have a NOCO and it never fails to start cars, trucks or boats. Never used it on my own stuff… lucky I guess.
I usually don’t store it in sub zero cold though. I had to give it a little warm up once so I could jump the neighbor’s car. I learned from that and don’t store it in the truck long term in sub zero stuff like we just experienced
The reality is this is going to hurt the very folks that put Trump into office because he promised to reduce inflation. These tariffs will increase prices but do nothing to solve the border issues we have.
I feel your pain Slowpoke. I have been going to Lac Seul on and off for years now. The guys I go with have been running that lake without incident for 15 or more years. They stick together and follow routes they have saved on their GPS units. But you never know!!!!
Thanks for the generous offer Don. I went out and bought a chip before I read your post.
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed reading this thread. Winnie sounds like a real sweetheart. How old is Winnie?? In human years.
An earlier post complimented Reeds in Walker. I am in there all summer. I love going in there. On busy days they beef up the checkout process. I am always amazed at how they changeup their floor layout so often. It’s like a new store every month.
On the other hand they tend not to stock the more affordable models of items like fishing rods for example.
The Teckel USA Honker Frog is my go to frog. It has metal flipper legs and when it sits at rest the nose of the frog points up. Perfect hooking position. They run about $15 a piece. I fished a bunch with them last year and never lost one.
Been over a month now so hoping I’m not going to lose it forever??
I appreciate the responses. I am well aware that loss of smell and taste are symptoms of and result of Covid. I was interested in hearing from others who lost these senses and what they experienced. It’s about two weeks and counting until the best food day of the year.
I feel bad for those of you that lost your smell and taste permanently.
I avoid this brand now. I bought two of them last year. I broke one on a hook set. It was no monster fish… I sent pics to them at their request. They told me it was my fault not a manufacture defect. Excuses..excuses….
On a side note….One guy has two Unterras… when one breaks he swaps it out for the other. Now that’s product loyalty
If you add a second high speed ducer and splitter how does the head unit know which sonar signal to read?
If an adjustment doesn’t work looks like I’m gonna have to get a second high speed ducer…..
Went on line to order two comedy show tickets from Ticketmaster. The tickets were listed at $25 each. The final price for two tickets was $78. That’s a 50% fee…. nuts.
The Purple Goat in Rochester has amazing burgers. Their patty melt is awesome too…
Picklerick…..you nailed it! Funny….when I called GLSkipper they said I was out of luck. I measured the switch barrel and this will work. Thanks for the link. I placed an order.
Apparently you know more than the company.
I just got back from Ace Hardware and they had nothing. I was surprised….
I recently purchased Cabela’s Guidewear on line…..big mistake. I wanted to replace the Guidewear I bought in 1999…The new stuff is cheap, thin and I am sure will not hold up.
I have made those same modifications on two Ranger covers. I used a canvas shop in Rochester where I live. I also had one modified by a canvas guy in Hackensack.
My challenge was securing the back of the cover in a way to repel heavy rain. After a bit of trial and error I found that using a shortened version of ratchet straps from Menards did the trick.
Back in 2016 when I bought my Ranger they hung a Suzuki 175 and a 9.9 Suzuki kicker. The dealer I went thru told me this was the last Zuki Ranger would provide….ever
