My 10 inch strikemaster 40v cuts faster than a jiffy propane auger and a new eskimo 2 stroke. Whoever says they arent any good for cutting a ten inch hole has never seen one being used.

I tried one but they changed the plastic notches on the battery so they wont fit.

I used a 10 inch all winter. It works great. Faster than my buddies propane and gas augers. The only time it had trouble is when there was 2 layers of ice with slush between. Just had to lift up on the auger halfway through and it was fine.
