Columbia River, WA/OR have no limit on walleye caught. There are/where many lakes in WA which have bounties on Walleye. Last time I was there it was something like $5/head.
I’ve fished the Columbia dozens of times, and the average walleye caught would even make Lake Erie/Detroit River walleye blush with envy. Average fish over 6lbs and many fish over 10lbs. Your typical best bag(5 fish) in a day will be over 50lbs. We also fished by a guy that caught a 16 and 17lbs fish in the same day.
They are widely considered a trash fish.
The whole state is interesting. We also fished Lake Chelan, and the homeowners(many muti-million dollar homes) on the lake convinced the state to put a bounty on Lake Trout. We did a “study” with the DNR and caught a crapload of Lakers. Some of the most fun fishing I’ve ever had.
