Who’s taking a paycheck during the shutdown? Our state government can’t seem to balance the budget, but those taking a paycheck feel that they are privileged.

It is very important to understand the differences between the “daily catch limit” and the “possession limit”. “Possession limit” overrides all “daily catch limit”. Possession limit includes any fish of that species that are in safe keeping (in the freezer).
September 18, 2010 at 3:04 am #899311I have this on my boat http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=76243&pdesc=Telescoping_Drop_Ladders&aID=601K&merchID=4006. This also works great for kids too.
May 25, 2010 at 2:39 am #874686We turn our AC on for the 1st time today. The outside fan in the compressor unit will not spin. I took a screw driver and turn the fan. It started spinning and everything is working great. Something may have gotten into the fan to stop it. If it spins right away, listen for strange noise (grinding noise of stuck object). If this continues, you may have to take it apart of better visual.
July 31, 2009 at 3:14 am #794491If you made the Recovery Disk, you should be able to restore the laptop just like it was brand new out of the box. Just make sure you backup all of the important stuff before doing this.
I just bought a new laptop for my wife and I had to move her old stuff to the new. Wife was using Windows Mail and she had lots of pictures. Let me know if I can help.
July 12, 2009 at 1:35 am #789890Straight West from Big Point with a deep hole about 41 feet. Another name for it could be July Bar. On my map it’s called Highway (July) Bar.
December 17, 2008 at 1:56 am #729397I had the 8” 3 blade Ultra auger about 2 years ago. Even with new blades, it was hard cutting. I sent an email to Strikemaster to see if they can check if my auger was bent due to poor cutting. I got a reply back to stating there was a manufacturer’s defect on some of the three bladed drill units which could cause them not to cut. Strikemaster offered an even exchange on any of the following two blade drill units: 6”, 7”, 8”, 9”, or 10”. I drove over to Big Lake and got the 10”. I also had 4 sets of used/new blades for the Ultra. I asked them if they want them. They took them from me and gave me 2 sets of blades for the new 10” auger. Great customer service and I will continue to purchase Strikemaster augers!
October 14, 2007 at 1:32 am #616296Here’s a dead give away “yahoo.co.uk”. The UK means United Kingdom. If you go to the Yahoo site (http://uk.yahoo.com/) it’s for both UK and Ireland. Thanks for informing us.
July 25, 2007 at 5:06 am #593685IMHO – If the Native Americans had their way with Mille Lacs, our fishing limit would be similar to Upper Red Lake (URL). All walleyes from 17” – 26” must be immediately released. Possessions limit 2 with only one over 26”. The GREAT THING about Mille Lacs, Native American does not own ¾ of the lake (only a rough guess).
If we put a hold on new Public Launches, there goes our PUBLIC LAND. The 14” – 16” slot limit set by the DNR has major impacts to local businesses and surrounding Resort Owners. IMHO – This was a test to see if the public would tolerate the 14” – 16” limit. Most Resort Owners would rather sell their business to the Native Americans if they were given “GREAT Offers”.
Even us cities folks seen it C’mon, on “PRIOR LAKE” area. Our local golf course, used to be “LONE PINE” sold to “MYSTIC LAKE CASINO”. I use to play that course at least 7 times per summer. I haven’t been to it since. It’s a two way streak. Even we City Folks understand ECNONMICS and POLITICS.
SO PLEASE STOP BASING THE CITY FOLKS!!!! We are not going to insult your intelligence, so please don’t insult ours!!!
June 27, 2007 at 5:05 am #584630Hey Bucky12pt,
I was at rainbow foods tonight, walleyes were selling for $11.99 per pound. Like many others, I would rather enjoy a burger at McDonalds or a good Steak!!!
I understand it’s your choice. Please save some walleyes for my children and grand children (if you don’t have any). I have a 15 year old son and my daughter is 11 years old. It’s more fun to catch walleyes from our local lakes during our vacation.
June 27, 2007 at 3:56 am #584618In my humble opinion, the DNR should just close the lake. Why kill more slot fish between 21” – 29”? It does not make sense to reduce the slot to 14” – 16”.
If we are truly trying to protect the slot (breeder) fish, why would we cause harm to them by reducing the slot to 14” – 16”?
If the slot is reduced to 14” – 16”, I will not be fishing Mille Lacs for the rest of the season!!! It is a personal choice and I hope many anglers will take the stance to protect our great fishery!!! Surely the DNR does not share our interest!!!

April 11, 2007 at 5:27 am #559420You can obtain more information from this location http://www.software995.com/
Instead of printing to a printer, you can print directly to PDF printer driver and save your printouts as a PDF Document on your computer. This is viewable using an Adobe PDF Reader. When I purchase from Wade, this is my receipt.
February 8, 2007 at 4:26 am #534264Here is a really good site when doing research on Cell Phones. For instance, I have families in North Dakota. As you know, most towns in ND are very small. WireFly has an option on their site to search by carrier and all you need is the zip code (top left corner of screen). This was very helpful for us in choosing our current carrier. Here is a link to WireFly http://www.wirefly.com/.

January 13, 2007 at 9:54 pm #522432I would have to agree with everyone that favors 2 lines. Regardless of 1 line or 20 lines, you can only take one limit. If you are a law breaker, do you really care about how many lines or how many limits one can take? There are good days and bad days on the water; a “limit” is a “limit”. Just my 2 cents.
December 21, 2006 at 1:15 pm #513713Thanks Doc. That pretty much sums it up. Regarding the NavPlanner, I believe version 1.0 was out and it had many problems. Does anyone have more information on the current status of NavPlanner?
December 20, 2006 at 4:31 am #510744Sorry guys I know this is beating a dead horse. I currently have three smokers in my garage. Two are charcoal, one round brinkman and one horizontal indirect heat. The charcoal units just don’t get hot enough during winter or really cool days. That’s the only reason I purchased a propane upright smoker.
Well actually, I’ve had 4 smokers in the garage about 3 weeks ago (2 charcoal smokers and 2 propane smokers). I recently sold one of my smaller upright propane to my neighbor that wanted to try smoking meat. It’s really a great hobby with many rewards.
December 18, 2006 at 5:25 am #512366I’ve had many smokers over the years. I just purchased a new one from Gander Mountain. It’s called “Hollow Smoker” by http://www.olp-inc.com/products_smokers_vertical.html that has 4 racks and it is propane gas. I’ve made jerky, pork ribs, briskets, salmon, pork loins, and so much more. Two of my good buddies just purchased their own smoker. The best part of them buying the own smokers is that they have access to my great recipes.
I have this recipe for venison that has “hoisin sauce”. It is fabulous and it’s a great hit with my neighbors. Even the ladies love it. We have several neighborhood parties and the special requests have been “Charlie’s smoke salmon”. It’s really not the size of the smoker or the price you paid. It comes down to the rubs and the secret recipes. My wife used to say that “Road House Grill” has fabulous ribs, not anymore! I am willing to share.
December 16, 2006 at 12:40 am #511869Sometimes I will use my propane lantern during daylight. Not because it’s dark in my fish house. Just much lower heat source or better heat control. Another option is to invest in a small catalytic heater. Replacing the orifice or adjusting the regulator may lead to other hazards.
December 15, 2006 at 4:31 am #511542Hi Tracking Bass,
Yes, you can do this to any files on your computer. For instance, my personal picture files are stored in “C:\Documents and Settings\Charlie\My Documents\My Pictures”. My music files are stored in “C:\Documents and Settings\Charlie\My Music”.
The “backup.bat” file would look like this.
1. @echo off
2. echo.
3. echo Backing up Pictures
4. xcopy “C:\Documents and Settings\Charlie\My Documents\My Pictures” “D:\Backup\Pictures” /S /I /Q /K /Y
5. echo.
6. echo Backing up Music
7. xcopy “C:\Documents and Settings\Charlie\My Documents\My Music” “D:\Backup\Music” /S /I /Q /K /Y
8. echo.
9. pauseWe are using the “XCOPY” command which comes with our computers. We can adapt this to work for anything on our computer. The syntax for XCOPY is provided below.
XCOPY source [destination] [/S] [/I] [/Q] [/K] [/Y]
/S = Copies directories and subdirectories except empty ones.
/I = If destination does not exist, assumes that destination must be a directory.
/Q = Does not display file names while copying.
/K = Copy attributes.
/Y = Suppresses prompting to confirm overwrite of an existing destination file.Full XCOPY Syntax can be found here http://www.computerhope.com/xcopyhlp.htm Let me know if I could be of further help.
December 15, 2006 at 12:54 am #511477Can you please verify that you are connecting the cable to the “video in” of you Sony Videocam?
December 14, 2006 at 7:21 pm #511304I could not find anything in the menu. By placing the mode to VCR, this force the input signal to RCA Video in. With everything connected, please do the following.
1. Turn on the power to the Marcum underwater camera. Do you see a video on your display screen? I am assuming that the Marcum has its own video display screen.
2. Turn on the power to the Sony Videocam. Do you see the same displayed video as the Marcum? They should be the same as the Marcum is the source of your video signal. Our goal is to determine the following.
1. Defective Marcum.
2. Defective RCA Video Out jack on Marcum.
3. Defective RCA Cable between the Marcum and the Videocam.
4. Defective Videocam.December 14, 2006 at 6:59 pm #511291To configure automatic backup, you must have two items. You must have a task scheduler and a batch file or a script to perform specific tasks.
To create a schedule tasks in Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308569 or http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305613. These links will explain with step by step directions.
Here is an example of a batch file called “backup.bat”. You will notice that I am using “xcopy” command. I am making backup copies of my Desktop Icons, My Local Outlook Personal Data, and My Internet Favorites.
1. @echo off
2. echo.
3. echo Backing up Desktop Icons
4. xcopy “C:\Documents and Settings\Charlie\Desktop” “D:\Backup\Desktop” /S /I /Q /K /Y
5. echo.
6. echo Backing up Local Outlook PST
7. xcopy “C:\Documents and Settings\Charlie\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook” “D:\Backup\Outlook” /S /I /Q /K /Y
8. echo.
9. echo Backing up Internet Favorites
10. xcopy “C:\Documents and Settings\Charlie\Favorites” “D:\Backup\Favorites” /S /I /Q /K /Y
11. echo.
12. pauseDecember 14, 2006 at 1:30 am #511008I have an Aqua-Vu ZT underwater camera and it has the RCA Video output jack. I also have a Sony Digital Handycam as my video recorder. The Sony Handycam has rotating power/mode switches. They are VCR, Off (Charge), Camera, and Memory. It can only be place into a single mode at a time.
To record a video, I would connect the “video out” from the Aqua-Vu to the “video in” on the Sony Handycam. RCA color standards are Yellow (Video), White (Left/Mono Audio), and Red (Right Audio). Make sure you connect the yellow cable to the underwater camera “video out”. On my Sony Handycam, I put the power/mode switch to VCR. After the Handycam is in the VCR mode, I just use it like a regular VCR and press the “Record Button”.
