I bought a deeper 2 years ago, bluetooth model. I have used it for 2 seasons.

Pros: App is really easy to use, portability, fairly accurate, and you can use it with ipad or phones (ios and android)

Cons: Battery is to small(max 3 hours for ice fishing), bluetooth transmission may cause minor lag (not much impact), sonar area is limited (because the unit is floating on the surface of the water, the ice hole will limit the size of the scanning area. some time you have hard time to find your jig.

My major concern about this unit is the battery. I normally stay on the ice for about 5-6 hours, but it only last about 3 hours due to the cold temperature. Another thing is the scanning area is small for ice fishing. So if you just want to have a portable gadget to test whether there is fish underneath the ice and not for a long period of time, I would recommend. Otherwise, any other entry level sonar will be out-perform than it.
