Just a note, I do not represent the manufacture and want people to know that my goal is to help people in their buying and assembling and fishing ideas.
I know Otter is very concerned with their customers needs and is always working to keep all their customers satisfied.

The video instructions are something I have thought of and may look into putting a video out on that. I have put over 50 houses together and some of the concerns about the plastic snap joints and the self tapping screws, I have not seen any problems with. I have also taken in several used houses and have not seen problems with these issues.

    Tonka,
Thanks for your comment. Having watched the evolution of Otter over the years, I see the leaps and bounds they have made. The Portable fish house is certainly a much improved product. I am sure from a manufacturing standpoint there are changes that make sense and some that don’t. I know Otter has sought many opinions over the years in the research and development of their products. From a dealers standpoint, I can not think of a better product to represent, I am glad you love your house and I think every detail of the Houses are analyzed often because Otter strives to be the quality leader in the industry, with out a doubt. That is what makes representing them an easy Job for me.

    Hey Mike,
They are not cheap at all. There are houses many years old that have the same system and have not had any problems. Those pieces are extremely durable. I have taken in several trades and have never seen any wear or issues with them. Good luck fishing

    Hi Crappie55369,
I would not hesitate to contact them if you are concerned. Deb and the team in customer service do a great job. If your support poles and frame pole are correct you should not have that problem. If you flipped the 2nd and third frame upper side tubing or have the back 2 top wind support poles reversed are the 2 things that can cause that. If you have those right then call Otter. Some good pictures help to show your problem. Good Luck and Good Fishing!!

I have assembled over 50 houses. Dan Murphy with Ice Hunters. I am an Otter dealer and do many assemblies and all of them fit nicely when the poles are all in the right place. I feel the directions are vague on how the support poles go and I have seen many houses assembled wrong. If you are having problems contact me and I will see if I can help. If your looking for any Otter product, visit my site at http://www.icehunters.net

    Hi
    Dan Murphy with http://www.icehunters.net
Yes I am an authorized Otter Dealer and carry the full line of Otter Products, including the Pro XT’s. Thanks for the plug Kent. All Pro XT’s by contract must be advertised for MSRP, you must contact me for your best deal, I work hard to give all my clients the best deal I can plus do deliveries or meet people part way if great distances away. L&M sells at varying prices throughout the year and do not always have the best deals and they are all quite a ways up north from the Twin Cities. I will compete with them on price plus I will deliver within reason and can do reasonable assembled prices they cant touch. If you like working with the owner and getting personal service, check out my website and contact me. Also I can get you any accessories Otter carries at discounted prices!
