Red fish, speckled trout, snapper and a few flounders have made up our main freezer fish for many years. Never really keep anything from Minnesota waters.

Caught about 20 or so this morning. Biggest was maybe 1 1/2#.

December 27th headed out with the boy and one of his buddies in the rainy/snow/sleet and found a few. Just doing a little pre fishing to the first bass of 2019.

Went out in the snowstorm last Thursday and caught a few below the plant, tomorrow is looking like 36 and mostly sunny…..

The 15 boats at the access on the fourth weekend should indicate what’s happening. Way fewer people are using these lakes. Twin lake access has 40+ stalls between the two parking areas, you couldn’t find a parking spot there on a normal year if it was after 10am, now you can show up mid day and park in the front lot.

For everyone’s info they are presenting the reprt of the first half of the year to the Wright County Commissioners Board this Tuesday. You can watch her stammer and stumble through her lies and manipulate numbers live on their website. Should be entertaining at least. Hopefully some questions come up during the program and she shows her inability to perform again. Although it won’t matter, some portions of the board are so in love with this idea she can’t do no wrong.

You do realize that they are providing an inspector at the ramp in this program if you have 10 boats. One would think they would just go around the lake once and inspect them all if it was a rule that you needed inspection annually. Just another waste of money.

Grouse the only problem is the state has passed the statues to make this possible. Without that the local special interest group would have never got it through the county.

No. The DNR (and/or possibly the county, other articles were unclear about which agency actually paid) bought the land for both the access and the roadway.

The county and multiple state agencies have surveyors on the payroll…. why haven’t they dispelled the claim?

Pretty sure he’s got a survey and it shows his case is valid. Why else would he waste the money on this?

Caught 19 on a single spot last Sunday. They weren’t bedding there they were just on the feed. Pretty awesome when the boy and myself could get them on both our confidence baits. He was working a Shadowrap and I was ripping a Chatterbait. Got a little wet from the rain on the way to the ramp but well worth it.

The annual picture thread gets the most action it seems. Other than that not much going here. Maybe some water temp questions and a has anyone been here lately post from time to time. We picked up 6 dozen from Trappers on our way up two weeks ago. One of the guys had called him a week ahead and he got them in for us and had them ready when we got there.

Best thing the gun grabbers can do is make David Hogg disappear. Several videos are showing up now that aren’t good. The one where he’s ranting in expletives about “f*** them” and “I don’t give a S***” is hilarious. Then the coaching video and the one about not getting into some fancy college. Johnny Morris has bought and closed several glass boat companies. Stratos was under-performing, but Legend was up and coming. The base prices at the Classic were deceiving from what I have read. Basically nothing included in that price. Trolling battery’s and even auto bilge pumps are an add on package and the 1980 is going to be closer to 40k reasonably equipped for a tin bass boat.

You don’t know who killed your Rev do you? The Steel Toe Morning show took Free Beer and hot wings out behind the woodshed and the River is the result. It’s a sad day when I work to far into the city and 101.7 turns into some chanting.
