Haven’t been out since last week but we caught a couple eyes right before dark. Years past the morning bite has usually lasted a little longer.

I just called and checked mine today and got my first choice. They said they were going to be mailing out the postcards in a couple of days. The number is 1-888-936-7463 if you would like to check and you can verify others in your hunting group which was nice. Good luck this spring.

A couple budies and I headed out smelting on wisconsin point in Superior friday night but ice blew in and froze the shore solid , the night wasn’t totally wasted thoguh because a couple beers got . Hoping for some warmer weather and cooperating winds to let us enjoy a good ole smelting party!

I thought about doing that but whoever installed it, left only enough wire for the controls to sit right at my feet which is kind of inconvenient. I would like to just take the control unit out so it is totally out of my way.

One thing you may want to do with any reel you get for ice fishing is pull it apart and clean out the lube it it shipped with and re-lube with a product like Hot Sauce >>
    Hot Sauce

    Hi Jon,

Do you replace with the Hot Sauce grease or oil?
    Or do you use both?
I found them both on the shelf at the man’s mall and
wasn’t sure which I needed, or if I needed both.

    Thanks!!

I have stiffness in my drag and am gonna replace the lubricant. I would replace the lubricant in the side port would this cure my drag problem or do i need to put some under the spool too?

I have a cabin on Lake St. Croix in Solon Springs. I was out ice fishing there last friday, the fifth, and had a good seven inches. Little further north but I don’t think it sould vary by that much.

Never intentionally fished for them but have run into a few of them fishing before. Don’t know if I could get myself to eat those ugly things but they sure are fun to fight.

Last year I bought a ML and UL premiere series and was very happy with both of them. Although, I was preparing my stuff for fishing this winter and noticed that my drag was seized up on both of them. I keep them in my garage so maybe i just need some anti freeze lube in the reel. Has anyone else had this problem before? Any other suggestions
