I did use it a few times in cold weather though….we’ll see what happens when I install my new screen. Going back to fishing without the aqua vu….man I don’t know. Ice fishing is incredibly fun with it. No sonar can touch it.
I also emailed the support on the Mr Heater site and the only reply I got was “Thank you for the inquiry,
Unfortunately, butane is not approved for that heater, I’m very sorry.”
So there it is. Maybe it works, maybe it won’t but I’m not going to try.
It’s basically much easier for me to get hold of butane canisters.
Anyone want to recommend a GOOD PORTABLE carbon monoxide alarm?
So the answer is “YES, it’s safe to use the adapter in the picture with nothing extra”? This heater can use it? No filters or anything? I’m reading about the hoses for the bigger tanks. I’m going to use the propane butane tanks in the picture. I just want to be sure.
