I was out Saturday and the water temp was 50 to 52 degrees and my fishing was a little off also. Caught more crappies of the dock. I`ll be winterizing the houseboat next weekend so I don`t know how much fishing I will get done. If I do I`ll post a report.

Was out Sat. and Sunday kept 25 Crappies between the wife and I. Threw back many smaller ones. We caught many many gills and bass also one stinky slimmy dogfish. Kept some really nice gills also. Awesome fishing out there now!!!

Lazy River does not have fuel and it’s of the river 3/4 in a shallow backwater area. If you dont know where to go you will be stuck in the mud. I had my houseboat there for 5 years but recently moved it to a different harbor.

The marina in Savanna is within short walking distance of food and bait. Go north on main drag to Mannys for pizza and tacos. Cant go wrong there. Keep going north to Bp station for bait. I keep my houseboat in Island City harbor in Sabula which is a very nice harbor. But there is only one cafe in town and about 1.5 miles for bait.

Hey Corn i did pretty well on 13 last Sun. stayed a couple miles down from the dam. Wont be able to make it out this weekend to many honey do,s. The fish liked the electric blue ringies.

As A bears fan I would have to say that was a good game. I realy liked the play calling 4th and 12 inside your own 15. All that I can say is SACK!!! priceless

Iv’e done it a few times and it’s not that bad of a job. one thing that i found works good is to park the rear end under a tree so you can use a winch to raise and lower the motors. You can do it by hand but it’s nice to have the winch so you have both hands free.

Dave i had that problem ona older merc come to find out the brushes in the electric motor were sticking. So I took out the elec motor and had it rebuilt. It’s a lot cheaper than buying a new one

Caught a few crappies off the houseboat at the dock. Most were decent sized. Didn’tgo out in the flat bottom to much because of the rain.
