I have a K-drill and an ionX and I’m selling ion this year. Love the k-drill and might buy another. I have the 8-inch with 2 Milwaukee batteries and I can get more than enough battery life for a weekend fishing.

I got an otter cabin last year. My dad and I fish it with space for 4 holes 2 flashers and our rod case. We do not have a sled and it is hard to pull in deep snow. Otters are almost indestructible and will last a while and in my experience eskimos have not been as reliable. I would go with otter but I might just be biased

I have cabin there Great Lake with super clear water. There’s a good island and a few good drop offs with structure to fish. Lots of bass and panfish. I’ve done a little walleye fishing but not much.

I got Embark but there was no contour lines for the 3 lakes I fish most. Navionics transfers all the data and stuff over if you gat the new app through the old app. I didn’t have to pay anything either.

I have the cabin and fished 3 people in it but it’s tight. If your going mostly by your self and you pull your sled get the cabin. If you have a something to pull your house get a lodge. I got by my self most of the time and pulling the cabin in a foot of snow in hard.

I’d try fishing in the 18 foot hole around where that 9 foot flat is. Just a thought

I think we will be good for the rest of the season now that we have 9-12 inches on most of the lakes in Minnesota. People are putting out here permanents on lakes in twin cites area.

Unless things get cold soon, there should be good deals on the surplus ice tackle, gear, shelters, and even wheelhouses come spring.

    Let’s hope

I have the Milwaukee M18 works great with my K-Drill. I got a special pack that gave me 3 batteries but have never needed to use more than 1 and half in a day. I was just out when it was 3℉ drilled over 50 holes and had to switch the battery once.
