It is very important to contact your local DNR Waters area hydrologist for a correct OHWL determination before attempting to alter your shoreline.
Altering anything within 70 ft of a shoreline must be approved by the DNR. And also many times from the township or city you live in. Theyn often have codes you must follow.
March 8, 2013 at 2:40 am #1149604A lot of PD’s are changing from the 40’s to the 9’s due to costs of the ammo. They usually by huge amounts so that is also contributing to the lack of supply.
February 21, 2013 at 1:01 am #1144181Here is the response to my letter to Denny McNamara 54B Representative:
Chappy, Thanks for your email about this important issue. As a strong supporter of 2nd Amendment rights, it is my hope and expectation that we will stay away from any new regulations on our gun rights. I will not support efforts to take these freedoms away. If you’d like to discuss this or any issue further feel free to call or email. Keep in touch, Denny

February 17, 2013 at 6:34 pm #1142830It amazes me that the gun bill that it moving throught he MN gov states that when an owner of an “assuault weapon” dies the weapon must be surrendered to the government for distruction. Or has it already passed???
ISN’T THAT SPECIAL!!!!
January 17, 2013 at 8:52 pm #1132034“I wonder how many of us gun owners would be willing to put his or her life on the line to protect our country? Isn’t this what the second amendment is about”
Maddog, The 2nd ammendment is also set up to protect us a against our own government. Disarming a population will allow the government to do what ever they want…ie: Hilter
December 21, 2012 at 11:07 am #1122595How is it the gun mgf and store owners fault that people are now interested in buying what they can…I have to hand it to Obama. One heck of a way to get the economy going!! Had he not started speeches of “Change”. The guns would stil be on the shelves now wouldn’t they???? So I think this is OBAMINATORS chance to finally get the economy going on the souls of the innocents… I’m just saying and it will probably be deleted.
December 2, 2012 at 8:51 pm #1116826There’s a dark alley with figures in it…You, or the FD, wouldnt go in there for a million bucks. A Cop does it for a lot less and never off duty. A POLICE RESERVE OFFICER goes in there for FREE!!!

September 25, 2012 at 5:19 pm #1101140I find it interesting that with all the complaining no one is challenging their citations. If u “did everything right” and still got cited I would work the intent angle and ask for dismissal. You intended and attempted to follow the law and had no intention to break the law. however I am no lawyer. if there is a lawyer on here please advise .
September 24, 2012 at 10:31 am #1100669Got people complaining about being tagged for having residual water in their boats. like in the live wells or in the bottom of the duck boat. Just wondering if anyone has challenged the tickets in court?
I couldnt amagine duck hunting anymore with that crazy law. Everything in most duck boats get wet and drip for hours, days, the whole season.

August 3, 2012 at 4:18 am #1089353Nice to have an old fishing pole set up with heavy line and a old hookless floating lure. Cast it in front of them or bounce it off their boat. OPPSS???? Sorry…. You can yell at them for running over your line or say, Guess YOU were a little close????
July 31, 2012 at 8:25 pm #1088636I find it interesting that the courts allow for non LEO to inspect my boat and write citations. I as a Police Reserve Officer can not even search a car or person. If I find something then it is inadmissable in court. So I am working for the police department find contraband and it cant be entered as evidence but these individuals can cite people for AIS???? I think the Courts are not consistant with their rulings.
