Throw LOW out of consideration. 10 of us just got back from a 3 day trip. Maybe 25 “keepers” between the group. Couple weeks maybe put that back on your radar.

I use the 2.5”, I’ll rip a bit of the head off at times but I agree with some here. I will 100% take them over live minnows. Caught a few random walleye on them but mainly I use them when going for crappies and they work wonders when paired with a 1/16th oz jig head.

Just went on a trip to leech where my buddy had the blue tipz. Pretty dang cool. You can customize your phone to say whatever when the flag goes up. What a life saver those things were. I was unsure about them as we were opening the package, but after using, I will be getting a few myself.

Turned on tonight! Yesterday was nothing but perch. Tip ups and rattles with small suckers and shiners. Nice jumbos too

Pretty slow currently. Couple decent perch and a small pike. Any luck on your end?

I rip the head off and put it on a tungsten or a small jig head. They work great for crappie and an occasional walleye. I really like them on colder days when the bite is hot, so you don’t have to keep tinkering with wet minnows.

Hopefully the fish you get will be of size and make the trip one to remember. I’ve heard multiple stories of people at lake of the woods catching 50-70 fish all 10-12” I am thinking if you get into fish they will be of much better size(on average) definitely some hogs in LOW but being cold this weekend probably better to catch far and few bigger ones then a millions little guys with a decent one here/there if hopping around. That said keep me posted and I’ll do the same. Thursday-Sunday we will be out there

Hey we are headed up as well, similar position. Not sure where our rental is out of, but I’ll check back in here and give ya some info if we are catching. Feel free to do the same! Haha.

I actually don’t think this is my best one, but most recent “best” one. Yesterday actually. My sister lives in Colorado now and her and her husband come to visit here and there. They came up this past week and their plans were all over the place and things didn’t work for them. Soooo I said I’ll take them out for a day of fishing and my sister, who thinks the world of me and also thinks I’m a better fisherman than I probably am, decided to take me up on that. She pulled this monster out. Hasn’t stopped talking about it for 2 days. Soooo happy for her

Engler cooler. The net that pulls out drains water. Bought it this past spring and figured it would do wonders in the winter. So far it has been a finger saver.

Danner pronghorn 1200’s. They have a new style that’s narrower then their old model a few years back. I have the few year back model and they have been more than advertised. fished them in 6 inches of water more than a few times and not a drop. Never cold, never wet. Beautiful product.

Fished a bay on tonka this weekend. All of 3”. Slightly more/less in areas. Fished a lake in Eden prairie more of the same. Tight lines!
