Things are shaping up nicely for the tournament; weather is getting warmer, fish are biting, and the launch opened up today. Going to be a fun day kicking off an exciting new season with Full Throttle. Get your entries in & we’ll see you next week.

Hoping for ice to be out in time, and excited for all the positive changes this year. Invite your friends as more boats = more money in addition to 100% of entry fees being paid out now along with other prizes.

There has been quite a few slot fish & pictures of fish over 28″ that would make it exciting from Mille Lacs lately. Hope to see many of you there & as always hit Buzzies for some good food and refreshements.

I am looking for a Walleye rod that does it all for $100. I want this rod to be use for jigging, rigging, casting blades and casting small cranks. I have a real for it Shimano Symmetry with 8lb mono on it. I need some suggestions. I was thinking about the Limit Creek LCS66MF, but they are out all over. Can any one suggest anything else. Thanks in advance

Some stores have some Limit Creeks your looking for; 4 Seasons for sure, and probably a couple of the others & new inventory coming next week.

The area from lock & dam 2(Hastings) to Prescott north of pt is considered inland water & closed until May fishing opener so you can’t fish that area now unfortunately, but border water south from Prescott is open year round to railroad bridges on both sides.

Right on with that doesn’t cover expenses, and the best way to get things better is more anglers, which leads to more sponsors, and more prizes making all of us more successful in our quest to share our fellowship. Ideas are always welcome, but prefer to share some of this off of forums please. thanks

Not sure why you would prefer to share info. off of forums if the idea is to be more successful in a quest to share fellowship

Good point, but I meant the negative stuff that doesn’t help bring more in. Thank you all for input, fishing a TOUGH bite, and patience while Mark handled a new situation, which luckily was spelled out in ours ruled after review, and is definitely the most fair way to handle it.

Got this information right from lockmaster & bardges arrived in Red Wing Monday so there is open water all the way down, not to say there may not be some iced areas or chunks, but the information was correct. Hope to see many of you Saturday.

I’d suggest a 17/18 pitch 4 blade stainless for that on fishing boat for great combination of handling and performance, but without more details best to try a few to see what works best on your setup & many places around that handle those.

Today is last to enter w/o late fee, and also wanted to add that we’ll have a NPAA Kids fishing event after each tournament along with thanking Optima batteries for joining as a sponsor this year as well. Weather looks great for tournament day & big fish have to be hungry after long winter. See you soon

Getting close now, one month from tomorrow, I can smell spring in the air & starting to have scary dreams of huge walleyes eating up all my jigs.

Happy Easter all! More prizes this year and as always have Ranger Cup bonus on the line along with being eligible for Skeeter Real Cash for owners signed up for these programs. Larger option pot($100) this year gives another way to earn more money in Full Throttle tournaments this year. Can’t wait for next weekend.

Reminder that boat numbers are determined by when entries received with Premier teams 1st & then single event entries, and rooms are filling up fast at Nichols Inn with all the people coming to Red Wing the last couple weeks of April so get your reservations in soon for a nice room, free breakfast, & Full Throttle discount. First tournament just over 3 weeks away.
