at times i dont think a painted head is any better than unpainted but a thing that i think helps at certain times is having a eye on the jig head i think that is pretty important to my observations but i do paint all my jigheads but they are all painted the same color two tone black and silver, all lot of the walleyes i have caught usually have a sheephead shad or some times a mooneye in there gut, these fish all have large eyes so it could help putting an eye on your jig.

i talked to our local warden (dennis kirschbaum)about a year ago or so and he said it was legal to keep game fish but i would have to include them in my possesion limit,i have kept blue gills when i was in high school and had good success with them.but i want the color of pumpkinseeds.i have a 150 gallon aquarium so i have plenty of capacity to keep 6 to 8 fish i have been into tropicals for 25 years so i thought it would be a good change, and i dont need to heat the water, thanks for the replies

if your tent is the old canvas use the denim iron on patches with a standard household iron but dont add any water to it and set it to its highest setting and iron them on using your hand with a glove to apply pressure on the other side of the patch i did this 5 years ago and the patches are still holding…

with the high water get in your back waters, and find an area with square grass and fish in the vicinity of the edge.
i went out thursday and picked up 18 between 4pm and 7:30pm.
and a few other days in the past week or so i usually picked up a dozen or so ranging from 9″to12″,look for the least amount of current also.and minnows also.
