It works great under the Basketball hoop while the kids try to shoot baskets. If you hit it just right you can levitate it above your head.

I have the 6″ and the 8″. I always disconnect the drill and just bungee the auger to the rack of the atv or any other thing that I can strap it too. I dont trust the drill to stay on during bumpy rides. That way I can put the drill in a box and keep it safe. It takes only a few seconds to reattach it

I was on Tonka yesterday. Around 2 pm the crappies really started moving in the shallow bays. Some crappies were making nests. The females were very close by but not on the nests yet, but soon. I wonder how the dropping temps will effect them. Some bass were paired up on beds. Water temp was 60. The crappies were not hungry early but really turned on later in the afternoon. It was not that busy at the ramp I was at

I have a few of these. They are the Attwood swivel-eze power pedestal 238 series. The ones I have are adjustable from 30-34″ I 6’2″ and I can barely get my tail bone on it. They are tall. might work for your situation. They fit in the 238 series base. They are in great shape and were never installed in a boat. Just used in an office setting for a removable computer stand. 90$ SW metro no shipping

I gave it a solid effort last year for a day. Primarily searching for crappies but ended up trolling for pike because I couldn’t find any pan fish. I did catch a few pike, one decent, trolling with cranks basically in a gravely rocky area straight out from the public landing. Its a pretty shallow lake. I couldn’t find any patterns at all. You are in the heart of great fishing lakes within minutes of there, if you can trailer a boat.

I used this.–RED SHIELD Universal Screen Protector– It is working fine. A few bubbles are hard to get out. 3 for 10$ was best price I found and you cut to fit your screen

I run one Dakota lithium battery. I have a double post at the terminal to run both my 93sv and the PS22 transducer off one battery. It works fine and I have fished for 6+ hours with it. I carry an additional battery in case I need it but I have not needed it yet. One battery vs two makes portability much easier.

I spent some time with a few of the Garmin guys at the ice show. I bought the Panoptix last summer. I mainly wanted to talk about an issue I’m having with my unit and I found out that it is very common with the Panoptix. When switching from forward view to down view my unit does not recognize that the position has switched. It is an auto feature on the unit. I have had this happen many times and it takes quite a bit of time to get it to switch modes. He suggested increasing the gain so It will pick up the different signal. I had tried everything including disconnecting and shutting everything down. Eventually it gets to the right spot but can be frustrating especially after you find the school in the forward mode and want to sit on top of the school in down view. He said the new LIVE SCOPE has a manual switch as a selection on the screen and this eliminates my problem. I’m not ready to upgrade yet. The guy I spoke with didn’t seem optimistic that there would be a fix for this. My unit is a 93sv (not the plus) with the 22 transducer.

I used this set up and it works really well. Easy to rotate and switch to down view mode. Its basically an old Motor Guide shaft placed inside some PVC and shoved into a rod holder. Pops in and out of the rod holder mount that is mounted by the drivers seat. I searched high and low for the right mount for me and I just happened to have all the stuff in my garage. Only thing I had to buy was a small plumbing piece on the bottom that seats the bottom of the trolling motor shaft so it does not wobble inside the PVC.

Its light. You can Hunt, fish and camp out of it. I can haul my 8 wheel Argo in it with tracks. You can use it all year long and it can be customized. There are bunks that can be added. Super warm with heater on low in the recent sub zero temps. You can be the first out on the ice. I had the underside blown insulation added and this thing will float.

I use the 6″ K-Drill. Much faster when searching for fish. If I’m going to be in one spot for awhile like sundown for walleyes I will drill a hole halfway on top of the first one. This auger will allow you to do that. It won’t jump around on you. So you can fish bigger hole with a smaller auger.

I have a K-drill with a Milwaukee drill. I use the handle that comes with the drill. Just like in the video above. I cant figure out why anyone would need that Clam plate to put the drill on and then connect that to the auger? Seems like a completely extra unnecessary part of the system that would add weight. I must be missing something

Thanks icenutz! I took another look and noticed I had actually written the date I bought it on the stand. I measured the side bars and they are 21 1/2″ to the outside of the rails. I also took another picture.

I got the Lymer this year during the last week of March. 40 degree day and ground still frozen. Never even thought to check. Found the engorged tick a week later. I did get the rash. Quick treatment and no lingering effects. I treated my clothes with the Permithin and Just today I was driving home from up north and I felt a deer tick on my foot. I figured I would try to find out how the tick would react to being on my treated pants. Well it didn’t like it at all. It started acting sick immediately and was dead in 15 minutes. I could not believe it! That was very effective but kinda makes me wonder about putting that stuff on the clothes

But my reel did not have the free spin without the handle. The handle on my reel DID move with the free backspin.

I have a couple of XL Presidents for my Ice fishing rig and when I tried them out in cold weather I had the same experience. I called the Pflueger Tech guy and he said it was because of the heavier oil that is in there. He told me to put a lighter weight oil in the reel. He also said that he had not heard of this happening much before. I have had my reels 2 seasons. The lighter oil (3 and 1) seemed to help some but not eliminate the issue.

Grant, Wow!! Thank you for the great response. Much more than I had hoped for. I am psyched to give it a try. I will give you a PM if I can figure out how to do that. Red
