The zippers are Like that in hubs that have those style doors. They get better once you use it a couple times and break them in. Very good hub shack from otter.

Overall great hub shelter just needs the storage netting and wish the skirt was heavier duty. Always can have a bigger bag as well. Won’t be disappointed if purchased this year or next

I used the otter lodge hut on red lake for the first time a couple weeks ago. It works well and is very warm . Skirt could be a little heavier duty but other than that one of the better hub shelters out there I believe. Won’t be disappointed in otter hub if you go that route.

Just picked up a precision noodle at the ice show looks like it will be a good one I suggest anything with a soft tip more a visual bite for panfish I think. I had a meat stick thing was garbage broke the first time out. Get a hard case and protect your investments.

Yea I’m also trying to get away from the sunflower heaters heard to many horror stories. I was wondering if the big buddy will be enough on those really cold nights

Pick up a clamp style light from menards and and cut off the end and put some alligator clips on it too run it off a car battery. Works better then a cheap ufo light I think very bright.

I am stuck between buying the bullwhip and the precision noodle what is the side by side comparison and what does it mean a longer tip section on the bullwhip
