    Understood–cookies for Dean, and be ready to listen!!! I can do that, if the weather holds next Friday the 15 I am heading to Red Wing. I will be the one confused but fishing hard.

    Thanks, I may give it a try before the river rises this spring…tough ramp with high water. That channel stays open up to the dam correct?

    That is a great article…I tried dragging last week forthe first time with some success…after reading the article there will be lots more dragging done….your info is great…look out saugers i am after ya!

    We have a 7 year old golden….same problem.. We feed her lamb and rice Eukanuba, abd she still gets the infections…..We treat with a cleaning solution and Otomax regularly…we have tried everything else. If you find something that helps please psot it!

    What dam were you fishing….Got out Friday for a couple hours fishing wingdams, 3 walleye and several smallies. Used #7 tail dancer and jig tipped with leech. Fished below 5a

    I started reading on here back in December…I have picked up a ton of infomation that my 16 year old son and I are trying to put to work….My new ride is someone elses old ride….all I know is I am finally in the middle of the action not sitting on the side (shore) line watching!!

    Thank you both for the reply…it was my first time out EVER in my own boat…bought in January….had a great time with a huge smile on my face on my own, but was a little dissapointed not to get that first fish as well!
