As I read all of this prior, it sounded workable. I too sell many things out of country and have very few issues. BUT……this last email was a huge, huge, huge red flag to me. If they make payment via Mastercard, they can have the charges reversed once they get the merchandise. If they insist on paying with Mastercard, have them draw the funds out in cash at the bank and pay you with cash. Do not accept a direct payment via credit card!
October 4, 2007 at 4:39 pm #613421Holy Gads…..never even seen one that big much less hooked one. We catch them in very shallow water, that bad boy would get beached! We are in the Crystal River/Homosassa area, fishing backwaters in the gulf.
September 29, 2007 at 7:09 pm #612011You need what is called a scissor trap. Huge problem with moles in Florida and this is the only thing that works.
September 19, 2007 at 11:30 am #609331Had the same problem with a stradic of mine. I had fished all day in the rain and it got soaked. I took it apart, cleaned it and oiled it with lucas oil and it works flawless again.
August 31, 2007 at 12:48 am #604646Went to see Dr. today. they attempted to drain the hemotoma and did get some out but not much. He then gave me a cortisone shot to try and relieve some pain. I gotta tell you – I am a very active person and this has seriously set me back. The mental and physical anguish is unbelievable. If I never see the inside of my house again after this I will never complain. Being self employed, every down minute is money lost! And…my grass is 3 feet high…lol! Having this surgery was the right choice, I dont think about that for a minute. My problem is that I need to have timelines and I cant put a date on when this will be better – drives me absolutely insane. Anyone have similar surgery and an idea of time frame?
August 23, 2007 at 5:19 pm #602770Well, surgery went to the unexpected variety. My meniscus went from a repairable status prior to surgery to having 50% removed during surgery. Also had a lateral release done on kneecap. I will be needing more surgery within the next year to repair some arthritis issues. All in all things are good, catching up on some lost sleep and feeling pretty good. Looking forward to rehab and getting back on my feet so to speak.
August 16, 2007 at 4:11 pm #600587Take some time to feel badly! Then evaluate what went wrong and make a mental note of any mistakes made. Forgive yourself for your mistakes. Then focus on living the life you enjoy and want, let whatever happens in your life happen. No matter your age, a relationship with the wrong person is just that. If you do what you love and follow your own path, in time that path will cross with someone who is meant for you. Sorry to say it took me 45 years and two failed marriages to find that out. Jumping into work or overdoing anything to mask the hurt will just make it worse when its time to face it. Again, spoken from experiance. Have faith in God and give him your troubles and you will find that your life will become much easier.
August 6, 2007 at 1:59 am #597246I ruptured several discs in 1987 and had a laminectomy. Unfortunately with time and not following proper lifting technics I again injured my back in 1990. As a bullheaded and proud tough guy, I didnt want to recognize the seriousness of it until it was too late. I lost reflexes in right ankle and continue to have neuropathy on left calf as well as other issues. I underwent 7 hours of surgery in 1990 for a spinal fusion of L3, L4, L5, and S1. One year of extensive rehab later and I had about 1/2 of my strength back. Needless to say, prior to surgery I tried ever other available option including chiropractic and physical therapy!
My suggestion – dont mess around with this! Get several orthopedic opinions and follow to the T the suggestions. Corrective surgery is much better in the long run than loss of nerve feelings, loss of bladder control, loss of your use of manhood so to speak. DONT MESS AROUND!July 27, 2007 at 9:46 pm #594827Yee gads….after seeing that picture I think I will drink some of this 30 plus year old bourbon and bust all the Elvis decanters. Pluueeesssse no more Elvis impersonating if you have dunlop disease, belly dunlop over your belt, or even dickie doo disease, or for that matter……gross man! No wonder he sang love me tender…as tight as that is I bet he was tender!
July 27, 2007 at 6:59 pm #594756I decided to take out the boat the other day. I am sure I looked like a wonderful fool as I rolled out of boat to get on the dock. I am currently inventing a walker accessible boat…lol!
July 3, 2007 at 4:55 am #586478Went out late tonight, just at dark! What in the heck is going on with sheephead and crankbaits…couldnt keep them off the line. Got blown off water at 10:30
June 8, 2007 at 12:33 am #578831Try a Linksys Wireless-G Range Expander. Set it up in the farthest area you currently get service to. I use mine at home to get service to my office. My wireless is on lower level of a tri level home, basically underground and with the wireless extender in my garage I get 3mb service in my office 300 feet away, obstructed area. Staples carries these under a hundred bucks.
May 22, 2007 at 11:25 pm #573966Personally….I have sold many an item on IDA and I am a powerseller on Ebay as well, I think not only is it fair to expect to pay to use this feature here, I cant beleive it has been free this long already! Where else can you buy something from someone trusted? Ive never had a bad deal here as I have on Ebay! Not to mention the personal contact and fishing invitations received! My only issue is…hurry up, I have a lot of good fishing goodies to get rid of..ha ha!
February 13, 2007 at 12:34 am #535955And a Stingray to boot! Really mixed bag of fish today. No reds, but a few tarpon, a lot of speckled trout and the usual hundreds of ladyfish.
February 12, 2007 at 4:22 am #535593I have fished the Chassowitzka River, Crystal River, and Homossassa Springs and out into the Gulf. Tuesday we will be heading to Lake Panasofke to try for some green carp. Tomorrow is mullet day on the Weeki Watchi!
February 11, 2007 at 9:15 pm #535444What is it about fancy country clubs? For some reason, fishy pants and a holey tshirt are frowned upon on course. I think fishing is my choice over golf anyday. It is funny though how a guy such as myself can bring a scratch golfer down to my level with just a few simple insults and jeers. Apparently passing gas during a backswing is not acceptable. Geez, I cant remember ever screwing up a cast due to a loud one!
February 11, 2007 at 3:22 am #535318Finally had a calm enough morning to fish for reds. After spending the last few days fishing for grunts, speckled trout and anything we could catch, it was nice to actually target a certain fish. After nearly being laughed off boat landing for my choice of tackle, it was a welcome sight to catch this red. He was 25 inches and happily made his way to dinner table. I heard the comment of”you dont saltwater fish much do you” when I showed a fellow fisherman what I intended to use for lures. A 6’6″ med action ST Croix, 8lb berkley sensation line and a 1/4 oz Bfishn tackle jig and orange catalpa ringworm(soaked in shrimp overnight). What a blast to hook these on light tackle. Basically hang on and ready yourself for a great and long fight. Taking Sunday off to golf and then just 5 more days of fishing left before cold weather again. Will post more another day!
February 8, 2007 at 4:14 am #534257Rough day fishing today. Found lots of reds in shallow water(2-3 feet) but couldnt get any hooked. Every time I made a cast the ladyfish would engulf the lure. While they are fun to catch, they get irritating after about 100 of them. They are slimier than a cross between a northern and a catfish. They immediately jump about 3 to 4 times once hooked and put up a good fight as well, but arent too good to eat due to bones. Will give the reds another shot later this week. Tomorrow will be going after some convict fish (sheephead) for dinner.
February 6, 2007 at 5:30 am #533301Thought it was pretty good and original. Especially enjoyed the change of pace from past crap shown, and the fact he was live not lippin it. Plus he’s a heck of a guitar player to boot.
January 31, 2007 at 12:59 am #530281Wasnt the rod I was TRYING to sell….its the rod I did sell, just hadnt gotten it shipped yet! Wish I would have been able to take a picture of him with it in his mouth and those big beagle eyes lookin up at me!
January 29, 2007 at 11:08 pm #529671Toss the chicken, go to kentucky fried, then hide all the evidence!
January 28, 2007 at 3:24 am #528933You can order it from charter online for that deal. Just make sure there isnt any fine print 3 month stuff – they like to sneak that in.
January 23, 2007 at 3:25 am #526263Change dog food to a better quality and increase protien in diet. If dog food isnt high enough protien, supplement diet with vitamins and high protien snacks. Pheasant necks work great! All info based on experiance from a yellow lab with a love of crap!
December 23, 2006 at 1:55 am #514569Got a new dog yesterday evening….a 15″ beagle. And its all beagle too! He spent the better part of an hour today humping my leg!
December 20, 2006 at 7:04 am #510764My yellow lab of 19 years passed away in June. She was a great companion dog and I guess that is what I am looking for. Another lab would be nice as long as it wasnt a yellow. Ive been looking at pet rescue online and have seen a few nice dogs. Looked at a beagle today, he was pretty awesome too, but loud as hey!
December 16, 2006 at 8:19 pm #512011I have a Ram mount for the regular Ifinder…is it the same cradle? If so let me know and we can work out a trade!
December 16, 2006 at 8:14 pm #512010Try Steve Boyd – 352-603-5467. Good guide! You may want to also look at just boat rentals. They can be had for $60 to $150 a day depending on size and kind of boat. If you are interested in fishing the Gulf of Mexico about an hour and a half from Orlando…let me know.
