Was out there 11/15 evening. Boated 5 eater walleyes between a buddy and me plus a 26″ that was CNR. Lots of sauger caught but didn’t keep any.

What’s wrong with adding race in it? It’s true though. Indians were murdered in the masses but barely a peep or thought of it. Lots of things unfolding for many races but especially the white people in America, it will continue to unfold, good and bad. Brace yourselves.

Worthless Professors and they spread it among the minions in their “classes”

A guy I know just quit his teaching career over not being able to teach true history. It was a sad deal talking to him. He is a very professional stand up guy and teaching is his life. Or was. He was a high-school level teacher in Chisago County.

True history that the white men wrote? That’s sad

I’m still using my 93 plus with the lvs32 from 2019. Haven’t skipped a beat and still going strong. My two boys love fishing with it and I don’t see a need to buy another. I also use it on my boat and friend’s boat. I pieced it together and total came to about $2k.

^^ 100% with Michael. Crime is everywhere, rape happens more often then we know. Americans don’t want to work so there is an economic need for starting wage workers.

I’ve been catching bass using top water, esp. frogs, in shallow areas.

I repaired my 2001 vmax 150hp a few years ago. I still have the tool. I think I ordered my parts from SIM Yamaha. It was pretty straight forward and I used quicksilver power trim and tilt fluid. My symptom was the trim slowly going down while sitting in garage. However, I sold the boat about 3 months after doing the replacement.

Most of you always bring in political knowledge into this fishing forum so I think most of you can do WAY better than Trump and other candidates.

I apologize in advance if I offend anyone here who works there, or who’s family members work there. I went over today because I realized I did not have a lifetime Trailer sticker on my Boat trailer. Turns out that the trailer was never lifetime licensed and instead was yearly licensed because of the weight the trailer was originally registered as. The original registration had the weight listed as 4500 Lbs. I told the woman that there was no way it was 4500 Lbs. even with the boat. I even pulled up the manufacture spec’s of the trailer to prove it. She then says they can correct that and provide a lifetime license on it. But I would need to pay the missed Fee’s all the way back to the date it was last Licensed. Which was 2018. Needless to say getting that lifetime license was rather costly. I guess part of the mistake was saying I have used it the last few years. I should have just lied and said it had not been used since 2018. I thought about just keeping it listed at the incorrect weight and just getting a one year license and new plate for ut. But was told I would still have to pay all the missed license years. This was not the 1st time I’ve had to deal with A grumpy and unhelpful DMV person. I know their job probaly sucks dealing with upset people all day but they could be a little nicer. These days this Boating and fishing is getting Costly. Now I know why they say Boat = BRING OUT ANOTHER THOUSAND. These days I wish it was only another thousand. Seems like the curse keeps getting worse and worse these days.

It doesn’t matter if you did or didn’t use the trailer. You’d still have to pay the taxes from 2018 on.

I’ve recently had pretty good experiences at the DMV. I recently just bought a new boat from WI, and handled the title transfer myself here in MN. My boat is a 20′ Tiller on a tandem axle trailer. She asked how much the boat weighs, I said maybe 2k lbs, she said well looks like you get a Lifetime license on the trailer. I said, great.

Very similar to when I was there to update my Driver’s License. I was in and out in about 5 minutes.

But, trust me, I know others have had issues. I just wanted to say they’re not all bad.

You got lucky because most DMV I’ve been to would ask the weight of the trailer not the boat lol. Just be careful when dealing with insurance or officer, if you ever, because that tandem trailer you have is over 3000 lbs.

The Toyota trucks rust out underneath much faster than any other vehicle sold in the USA. That’s the only downside. Just get it undercoated really really well and it will last forever.

My Dad’s 2019 Silverado 2500 is rusting pretty bad and he only has 28k miles on it. It’s almost as bad as my 2008 Tundra (180k) when we took a good look underneath our trucks a few days ago.

You’ll be fine with that V6 Tacoma. I used to have a ’96 T100, towed a 18.5′ glass boat for 2 years and then a 17.5′ sylvan aluminum for 10 years. No problems besides the gas mileage lol.

Price depends on how fast you want to sell and how much you really want from it. If it’s a 4 stroke, low-mid $30s, if it’s a 2 stroke mid $20s. IMO, I would sell it asap and have someone else enjoy it.

Enforce parking fees? More money to the DNR/City/County and will deter the small unannounced tournaments (maybe lol).

Yellowbass tastes similar to crappie and bluegill. Love eating them. Whitebass has more of a stronger smell but they’re good smoked, deep fried or baked.

I have been in my Dad’s 1997 Super Select 17′ for years since 1998, he sold it in 2019. It is a typical aluminum boat. It seems to be a lighter hull than Lund and Crestliner (easily blown in wind, easy handling at the launch). I bought a 1995 Sylvan Pro 16′ with a 90 evinrude last summer and my three boys have been enjoying it with me. I don’t really see the difference with the other brands but if you’re looking at 2000-2010 Sylvan, just make sure pumps and hoses are in good condition, check rivets for possible leaks and check wood floors for soft spots. Overall, Sylvan boats can take a beating and performs well in all water activities. The 4 stroke is a plus too!

Crocs FTW! haha. But I do as FinickyFish does. Just loosen the winch strap some, lock winch and then back up until boat floats off. Drive up a little and unhook strap. No wet feet.

They did state that “if you need guides right away, then order else where.” Their pricing was for those who want to stockpile. This was why I didn’t order any, just bought some through mudhole/getbit/voodoo.

Looks like a nice boat. Should probably take new pictures…showing the whole boat/cockpit/decks/and under hull if you want some inquiries, just my 2 cents.

NWS Red Wing river level forecast is 15’ (moderate flood stage) a week from now, 5/3. Red wing landings will still be flooded. And once the flood waters recede, crews will need time to cleanup the landings. I’m thinking it will be at least 2 weeks before Baypoint is open.

    Thanks for the info!

Prescott boat launch is functional in these heights, just a matter of whether or not the city decided to barricade it. The parking lot is sloped, making it an excellent launch at this height. I had a feud with the city last time the water was this high and they closed the landing because someone might sue the city for something the city is not responsible for… weeks later they put up signs at the ramp to “launch at your own risk” rotflol

I may just try Prescott Saturday then, thanks!
