So, how was the trip/guide? I’m heading that way next week and was thinking of lining something up if it’s not too late.

    Jerry,

I’m interested, if you’ve still got it. Where in Western WI are you located? I’m up near Duluth but get down to the cities monthly for drill (Army Reserves).

Sold to the young man after his “test run” over Christmas break. Thanks all for looking.

I still technically own the Vex. I loaned it to a high school student of mine to “test run” over Christmas break. He showed interest but I wanted him to be sure it was what he wanted/needed before forking out his hard earned school work program money.

I’ve received a few messages about the old girl and will respond in order to any who are still interested if the young man decides not to buy the unit when school returns to session next week.

I just “upgraded” to an FL8SE in the hopes it would decrease feedback between two standard FL8 when fishing side by side with my dad. I’d would be willing to part with my old reliable FL8. In fact I just set the old girl up with a new Pro Pack II holder and new battery for the season… right before I ran across the FL8SE.

I’d be willing to part with her for $200 as she sits or $150 in the old blue icebox case and one year old battery. See pic (CJ&S tackle box not included).

    Interested in the parka.

I have a Large Anorakk Expedition parka that’s a bit snug. From the size charts of both companies it looks on paper like the Large Strikemaster will fit just right.

I’m a “robust” 5’9″ and normally wear the XL IDO Hoody over my bibs (still roomy enough for a long sleeve fleece jacket under the hoody).

Wondering what you though about the size of the coat and what shipping would cost to Barnum, MN (55707).

    Thanks,

    Gregg

Glad I watched the program before I hit the lake yesterday. As a rookie ice angler I tend to ignore the top 1/3 of the water column. But, on your advice, I trusted that they were up there and did very well. The fish I marked, I caught. But had to lay it right on their nose to get them to bite.

When the crappie shut off I did drop down and pull a few nice gills off the bottom. Even caught a bullhead on a spoon. Haven’t caught one of them since I was fishing drop lines with a crawler off the bottom 25 years ago.
