I’ve been pretty happy at Wealthwood Gun and Rod club on the north side of Mille Lacs. The rifle range goes out to 300 yards.
X2 on Wealthwood. Don’t need to be a member either to go shoot. I have been there a few times and have definitely enjoyed it
I will also be there Thursday-Sunday. We are staying at Slims and have not decided where we will be going out of. We will have a 4 wheeler with us to move around so hoping that it helps!

It says in the article that they took the lie detector test on Monday. Nothing on the results though.

With the deteriorating ice conditions it would be nice to see a wader fishing episode again. The stretch of the Mississippi around Monticello, MN for smallies would be a good change-up!

It definitely was a lot warmer today than the rest of the week. The wind was brutal so it was nice having the fish trap. I could definitely notice the difference in the fishing. Hardly even had to work for this lady once she showed up!
I was in the bay this evening towards the north end in about 40 FOW and only took one eye. I was marking plenty on the flasher but was missing something. I sorted through nearly all my jigs and spoons.. Don’t know what I’m missing.

Its not that they are not spending money… the money has already been spent and now we are trying to pass a budget to give us the money to pay for what we already bought. its like having a credit card and maxing it out then not paying the outstanding balance because you feel that you should never have been given it in the first place or that you were never asked to have one, then trying to just walk away from the money that is owed. This is not a good thing because the longer that the shutdown lasts, the more effect it will have on the value of the American dollar. This is not looking to be a good thing for the country if they don’t figure it out soon. And hopefully its not weeks^^
