Google Smithfield and check out all the brands they own. Too much control over meat supply in my opinion.

Prince bait in Milaca is usually one of the last places to have leeches. Jumbos may be scarce.

We’ve been coming to Mesa,Az for 10 winters now. Started out doing VRBO and renting in neighborhoods. The last 6 years has been in a 55+ community with more activities than we have time for. We’ve compared our weather to Florida and found that we have more sunny days than they do. Every January we do see a few mornings with a bit of frost.
We rent January 1st thru April 30. Last year when we left at end of April the temp was close to 100!! Dry heat!!
There are many RV, park model, manufacture home parks along with villages of condos and houses.
Rent can be $1500 to $3500 per month. If you own an RV it’s obviously less.
Venture Out, Carriage Manor, The Wells, Sunland Village, Sunland Village East, Sunland Springs, monte Vista and Leisure World are just a few that I’m familiar with. All are quite nice with different types of housing.
Suppose to be 70 degrees in Mesa area today. Sure beat shoveling snow!!!
    Hope this helps!!!

My wife had her right hip replaced in late Nov. She’s doing very well. Hiked 2 miles in the desert east of Phoenix last weekend, no problems. A chiropractor friend of ours started her on laser therapy. Made a big difference how much quicker her recovery progressed. Her advice, find a chiropractor who uses laser therapy. Send me a pm for a name of one in north metro .

    Here’s two we like:
Finlayson Resort by Atikokan. Walleye, smallie and pike in Finlayson. Other good lakes close. Marmian is a great smallie lake. Terry at resort will help you with spots. Negative, boat has to be trailered every night. Cabins are good and reasonably priced. Rustic.
Press lake camp north of Ignace. Walleye, pike and smallies. Electric right on docks and cabins are good and reasonably priced. Rustic. Negative – road in to camp is 16 miles of logging road that takes us an hour to navigate pulling my Mr. Pike. Give them a look and good luck!

IMO the Acadia was a better tow vehicle than the Trailblazer. Had experience with both.

Son had an Acadia for a couple of years and towed his 18.5 Ranger Riata with no issues. He traded vehicles only because lease ran out. Trailer had brakes.

Oldest son and I fished Stick Marsh about 10 years ago with Capt. John Leech. Stick Marsh is a catch and release bass impoundment. We caught a lot of big bass on shiners under big bobbers. John will fish live bait or artificial, your choice. Awesome, fun trip. Good luck.

Garrison is open. There were three boats out there this am. MyrMar is iced in. Based on forecasts, you should be good to go thru Sunday. Be safe, the lake looked “Cold” this am.

Couple things – Had the opportunity to go back to an Ohio State game this fall. What an experience. On that weekend they honored the 5 services branches by playing their anthem. They also had the Ohio school for the blind playing with them. The school for the blind actually has a marching band – each player has a spotter who guides them as they march. They did the Braille version of Ohio as the OSU band did script Ohio. Makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up when 103,000 people cheer them on! Way back in the day, 1967, as a freshman there was a band member on our floor. What a lot of work involved in playing ” The Best Damn Band in the Land”!

Sorry to hear about your Mother. There was something on the TV last night about cheap flights from Rochester, Mn to Phoenix. What I remember was $79 each way. Allegiant is the airline I think. Good luck

Been through a couple seals on my 03 Yamaha. Found that not all water was draining from lower unit and ice was wrecking seal.

Had same issue with mine a couple years ago. The Trailblazer was wired so that marker lights were on a separate fuse. I think the F150 I had many years ago was same. One circuit marked brake lights and the other trailer lights. Check your owners manual. Good luck. This kind of stuff drives me nuts!!

Son had an Acadia and pulled his 18.5 Ranger Riata with it. Handled this boat very nicely.

I looked at replacing the carpet in my Lund with vinyl and was advised against it by a place that does this type of repalcement becasue my floor is marine plywood and if water got under the vinyl it would never dry properly and the wood would rot. Something else to think about.

American Express that I got thru Costco pays 3% on the first $4000 fuel purchased(anywhere) and then 1% on balance of fuel purchased for the year, 2% on most restuarants and 1% on everything else. There are a few places that don’t take American Express. Use Cabela’s for those.

I use Power Pro lines and have good luck cutting with a Channel Lock needle nose. Have also used a Master Force needle nose and this seems to do the job also. Master Force tools are a little cheaper than the Channel Lock tools. Bought mine at Menard’s.

If anybody has any info, please call Milaca County Sheriff’s Dept. 329-983-8250. Thanks.

Are you sure that’s the right number? 329 is not a valid US area code. The area code for that area is 218.

Number is 320-983-8250…fat finger disease. Thanks for the heads up.
