Tuffy 2060 w/Merc 225 hp motor. Currently have a 23 pitch and am only getting 5200 rpms out of it. Thoughts? Just want to know it works before forking out the change. Thanks!

Agreed I have some splash guards my biggest fear is if water comes in the intake and sucks water is that possible? I have just heard about it and trying to minimize the risk by putting the jack plate in a better position. Thanks for the replys

Thanks for all of the advice. Unfortunately I had them fix it right away due to being in a tournament soon. I will call mercury and take pictures myself of the lower unit along with the prop and see what they have to say. The original claim was that I locked up the prop on a rock and caused the gears to strip. The thing I don’t understand and am getting irritated with is the prop and lower unit have no dings which I think is hard to hit something and not ding it. Well see how it turns out but thanks for the advice.

So is it possible one left and right are dim and no tail lights and still have a bad ground? I am wondering if I have a wire somewhere that is rubbed through and causing my issue. The lights are LED so I don’t think they would fail but they could.

You bet I purposely left it wide opened and thanks for the replys. Looking at Mille Lac based on the bite but never been up there in July but love to troll and from what I read July is a trolling bite for the most part. Never been up to rainy before but seems like that is more of a spring fall bite but could be way off on that. Thanks for the replies again and tight lines just curious what others thought.

19′ Tuffy Pro Series with a 225 optimax with preferably venting and a strap down system compared to a ranger cover with one strap around the circumfruence and one underneath. Thanks!

Right now I am shooting Winchester Elite’s or something like that. I would really like to know how far this gun can reach out reasonably. The gun is a ton of fun to shoot now I just need to figure out how to hold it steady in a treestand. Good luck to all who have tags left!

Thanks, Then my guess it is probably water as it looks milky. an off white. Motor still run’s great but don’t want to run with watered down oil. Thughts.

I was wondering where you get these at? I don’t see them on cabelas or reeds website. Haven’t had time to call them yet but curious as they look good! Leadcore potential also.

Didio to what Roger said. I had the same issue with a 997 and related it back to low voltage. I ended up cleaning all my terminals along with installing new terminals and the problem went away. Hope that helps you are not the only seeing this.

Just the cabelas standard planer board rods. I was wondering about the mono leader just didn’t set that up. Thanks for the response going to have to experiment a little and yes it was a pain in the butt.

Bass Pro makes a 2 piece dead stick rod that is 10 or 12′ I don’t know how it would work for 3 ounce weights though. I think the actual model is dead stick if you were to look for it. Hope that is some help!
