Food for thought. The Loomis ice blanks are tubular, not solid. Not a knock of Loomis by any means but personally a tubular ice blank would not be my first choice in any ice application what so ever. Cold makes things brittle, brittle things break easier. Winnipeg experience, longer rod with a faster tip helped me personally keep fish pined with barbless hooks. You do not need to break the bank on equipment for Winnipeg because that place chews it up and spits it out like noones business. I use a 32 medium fast st criox that I spent under 75$ on and also have a 36 med light fast cabelas rod that worked extremely well. Also the only reason I bought them was for the added length of rod vs what I used around home, after that 1st year up there I don’t think I own a rod under 30″ anymore, to me it just helps keep fish pinned better

I have Midco so it’s bigger than just Comcast. Bunch of BS as usual.

Same was pissed when I went to turn on the twins..thankfully the wild season is over or I might have had a meltdown. What a joke.

I would not hesitate to check piscifun either. I’m going on 3 years with a carbon x and it’s still as smooth as day 1

At what point does it become self defense? How would one dispute that? Protected species or not, wolves are no joke if they’ll do that to a dog what would they do to a small child? Clearly nor overly intimidating beings this happened close to an inhabited dwelling. Good reason to get a can? Can’t catch what they can’t hear or see.

Main reason I asked. Again like I said I have a kdrill and I don’t hate it but wondering if the ion would be a little easier to cut with. However I do re drill holes in the wheelhouse frequently

Getting ready for winter if it ever decides to come . I have an Otter Lodge and the Otter cover for it but not at all satisfied with the cover . I pull behind a snowmobile and not on packed trails . The sleigh gets filled with snow in no time at all . Looking for ideas on solving the problem . Thought about a bunch of eye-bolts along each side of the sleigh and bungee chords over the top , but would probably need 6 or 8 to have any effect? I also thought about ratchet strap around the perimeter but think it would not be user friendly. If you have any thoughts or solutions I would be happy to hear them . Thanks

Frabil predator cover fits 10x better and has a zipper hatch to get in the sled without taking the cover off

Pretty sure I’ve seen that one out there a few times. They are always ripping around everywhere. Western side of the lake by chance?

Naw, dudes a “guide” in sodak. Pretty boner move for someone that should know better.
