Welcome Steve – I’m Brian’s Favorite Cousin – also known as the Dam Clerk. I’ll have to stop by sometime with the cookies that I never did get around to making for Dean… I’m sure he’ll understand. If you have any questions about the Lock & Dam, you can contact me via Brian – I’m not on IDO much… Here’s my banana for you!
I’ll be booking our trip through Hotwire tonight. I’ve checked them all – Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc. and all the airlines. Hotwire was the best at $255 – which includes 3 nights at the 4 Queens, flying Sun Country, Feb 14-17.
As long as we are venting…Guys teach your wives/girlfriends to back a trailer!!!! It takes a minute or less at the ramp. They can all learn it with some patience in a big empty parking lot.The time you spend can pay divedends the rest of your boating career.
Can’t back up the trailer for the life of me, but, driving on the trailer is a piece of cake. Who said it has to be the guys job???
The Corps boat found it Thursday morning. When the “authorities” contacted the owner he said he hadn’t driven it “In 20 years”… And he’s the 3rd owner…. And it’s a ’94……. ???? (Haven’t heard anything more on it since Thursday)
In Hastings – we had Mac’s Corn – located on Hwy 61 at 16th street (Next to the Laundromat). Gave some to my FM and then the old guy and I ate 7 ears between the two of us – IT WAS AWESOME. But I think it might have been a couple too many.
