July 20, 2024 at 8:23 am #2281777Sorry Kevin the SCRATCHER will be missing this year as I have prior engagements this year!! I really am going to be heartbroken as this event means so much to me. I hope your turnout is as good as last year’s, and a big thank you to all the veterans in the USA
May 21, 2024 at 8:19 pm #2273635As ripjiggen said.you will have way more problems if you put on ss prop keep it aluminum I would never go stainless ever! Is your motor under powered? Or do you just like the shinny look? If you hit something you might just find out the cost the hard way, already have wrecked 2! if you only run lakes your chances are better but why risk a insurance claim.
March 19, 2024 at 7:22 pm #2262101Granddaughters team made state again this year, took 2nd last year and 4th this year! go stewartville tiger boys!!! In the last 10 years the winning 3a girls team has been a private school 9 out of 10 times, how can these public schools compete against hand picked recruited teams? MSHSL needs to change something to make this tournament fair to public schools!
November 6, 2023 at 8:09 am #2234389I feel for your loss Sharon I can only imagine losing a partner, this is what we do at deer camp, as I lost my brother 3 years ago. His tree stand still sits in the same spot where he put it, we use it now and then. We all go pay our respects to his spot and all 4 of us wears something of his. I wear his boots my son wears his orange vest, his son wears his orange hat and his grandson wears a necklace with his ashes. Also some of his ashes are spread below his tree.with a few shots of his favorite pass around we toast to him!! Thank you pop for the write up and Sharon I hope your day/ weekend went well! RIP Ricky Allen Metcalf!
September 6, 2023 at 8:41 pm #2222855Bk no call ahead we were prepared to wait, the owner said about a hour we were good with waiting but he was not user friendly, then when son in law put the pager on the table to leave he (owner) made a real smart azz comment which really upset us. We made calls in the past 3 years to lakeside dinning on p4 and all said no reservations, probably no 2nd chance! help or no help don’t be a azz to your patrons
September 5, 2023 at 5:52 am #2222549I really enjoy many outdoor activities but turning back into what I did years ago was street racing, I love that feeling of power to the wheels and a good adrenaline rush. Next year I will sport hopefully 600 HP in my 72 charger

May 31, 2023 at 9:34 am #2205751I have a 16 ft Sylvan walleye Wacker tiller, it is a 96 everything is in great condition and well built in my opinion. No leakes all wiring and hoses are still original. Rides great and has been to the middle of mille lacs in pretty good season I repowered with a 60 hp Suzuki 4 stroke and have no plans to ever sell it is deep and wide
May 21, 2023 at 8:15 pm #22040181st off they were walleye fishing and I asked if it was going on the wall and he told me no bass can be kept over 17 inches. I really don’t give 2 craps about bass so I don’t follow regs on them and he did say they are out of season! But as far as a replica it is double the cost for a mount i believe if you buy a license you can do whatever you want with the fish you catch, so hears 1 for you gimruis if You see a trophy buck you should take his picture and get a replica? Give me a break these older fish really don’t contribute to the spawn!!!!! Hea like they say watch your own bobber!
May 21, 2023 at 9:42 am #2203917I am not a smallie fisherman but my nephews boy loves to fish them, he got 1 yesterday 20 inch and I guess the young man could not keep it because of no way to keep 1 over 17 inch. Wow a small mouth? What is the mille lacs regs thinking
May 21, 2023 at 9:27 am #2203914I went out yesterday afternoon for 1 hour to my favorite place and found 4 lbs, I made 3 deliveries to some older folks I know and gave them all the mushrooms I found. I am not big on them but like to go looking in the woods on my deer hunting property
