I have owned a boat for 15 years and never replaced a locator because it went bad. I have had Humminbird and Lowrance units. As long as my side imaging keeps working I will keep my Lowrance units.

I have a trip for late August/September and no I am not going to be able to go. I have my shots but my son will not have his by that time frame. Hope for next year. As for all the take the shot don’t take the shot talk. I think its good that not everyone is doing the same thing. We are diversified like a good stock portfolio.

Man O Man. I would hate if I was Monday morning quarterbacked at my job by people who have never done it! I am glade that I work in a trade that doesn’t continually evolve by the day(rather over years and years). Have mistakes been made yes. Wear a mask or don’t I don’t care. Just don’t think you know more than someone who is an expert. I don’t critique the linesman that’s using a pole to put in a fuse!

We all have opinions and thoughts…but emotions and feelings aside, what are your predictions for the outcome?

Well, starting with 2nd-degree manslaughter, that appears to me to be a slam-dunk. The prosecution only had to prove “that Chauvin caused Floyd’s death through culpable negligence that created an unreasonable risk.” After all the testimony the jury heard, it would be difficult to understand how they could not find that Chauvin’s actions created an unreasonable risk. Guilty.

Third-degree murder requires “…jurors must find Chauvin caused Floyd’s death through an action that was “eminently dangerous” and carried out with a reckless disregard for and conscious indifference to the loss of life.” IMO, the jury heard plenty of evidence to clear that bar. Guilty.

Second-degree unintentional murder – Prosecutors “had to show that Chauvin killed Floyd while committing or trying to commit a felony — in this case, third-degree assault. They didn’t have to prove Chauvin intended to kill Floyd, only that he intended to apply an unlawful force that caused bodily harm.”

I get hung up on “intended to apply” in the above. Will the jury have seen evidence enough of the intent to apply unlawful force? The intent is very difficult to know without direct testimony or other smoking-gun evidence the directly speaks to what Chauvin’s intent was. Unless the jury essentially says the length of Chauvin’s knee-on-neck restraint alone proves intent. I’m predicting not guilty on this charge, but I would not be surprised if the jury went guilty here too.

What I don’t see after all this is any chance of acquittal.

And then let the appeals begin. First up will be challenging that the case should have been moved out of Minneapolis. Next up will be the timing of the City of Minneapolis settlement with the Floyd family. Those two should keep this going for years.

I agree with your take on this.

Minnesota is a great state to live in. I have lived here for 16 years now. Social # or ID won’t effect me one bit. I do worry about people that don’t have a stable home/homeless. Hard to worry about ID’s when you don’t have the basics. Issue at hand like everything is more complex than we sometimes care to see.

A question that have not seen asked.
So is this shot going to be like the flue shot on an annual basis?
It’s a wait and see and experiment type of thing?

Information I read is yes it will.

1775 impact ride is great. Had it on Kab last year in some big waves and was amazed by the performance.

I would recommend HUP. The book is for spaniels but flushers will train the same. As long as you can stop your dog when you want to you have succeeded in upland flusher training.

After reading the reply’s of this thread I feel very sad. All people see the world different and that is ok. We need to keep our hearts and minds open to how others see the world! When we don’t we loose empathy for people and that is not ok. Governments don’t live together people do.
My polling place closed this year. I got to vote by mail for the first time. It went well. I can see many township doing this in the future. I hope everyone has a great day!

I shoot a 20ga with IC choke. I like Winchester Blindside #5. As for the dog, give me the choice between a gun and a dog. Dog every time. If you do go out solo stick to cover edges (cattle slough, field fence lines, hill draws). Just like fishing 90% of the birds are in 20% of the cover.

I Got into them on Friday/Saturday. I found them suspended 7-9 feet down anywhere from 12-22 feet of water. The bite was not fast but my son and I caught about 20 in 4 hours on Saturday.

vessel view I think is only for Lowrance. My old boat had a humminbird my new boat is lowrance. I don’t miss my bird. Are your three seats including the jump seats? If not I would see if you really need an extra seat after a couple of trips. I have a 1775 impact and love it!

It was a great trip. Weather was good only a half day of rain. We caught plenty of fish nothing deeper then 12 feet.

My wife’s grandparents have had a place up there for years and have never mentioned any thing about netting. I don’t think you have to worry about the fishing up there. The walleyes are small but lots of them. The panfishing is where its at.

I have a 2018 1775 SS impact with tubes here are my photos. The rod in the photo is a 6-8 pushed in all the way. I would say this is one of my favorite features on the boat!

I move snow for a school district and today for sure they got it right. I was blowing snow in parking lots for 4 hours,so the plows would have a place for it. Then had to run home so my wife could go to work and I could be at home with our kid. By the way are daycare center is 3 hours late and if they cancel we still pay at 200 a week.

I would look towards a Maintenance position. I work for a school district in a maintenance position. We do about everything. Our bread and butter is boilers. Most will give you 4 years to get a first class license. My hours are 7-3:30 some weekend work and lots of snow removal. The benefits are great and pay is good to.

guess we would really need to know the plan and goal of what you want to do. Is it a fishing trip? A family get away? Want to do sight seeing? Plan on going to Kettle Falls? Lots of things to do there and depending on what you would like to do there are lots of sites to recommend.

Also, what are you running for a boat? Some sites require bigger water crossings then others. How much time do you think the little guy can spend in the boat? Will mom be ok at the camp site alone or will she be with all the time? Just the 3 of you or is there a group going?

Dutch, first thank you for all the info. I would say the goal of the trip is just a family get away/getting the little guy camping more. I was thinking 3 nights 4 days total. No hard core fishing, slip bobbering for walleyes for a few hours. Hiking around and playing with the dogs gathering firewood. If it rains, I will have some moves downloaded on my phone from Netflix for quick entertainment.

I am running a 17 foot lund impact. Little guy should be fine for about 2-3 hours of fishing. He loves boat rides so some exploring. My wife is going to sit this trip out. It will just be my son, father in law and dogs.

I have a four year old so I was think of a sand landing site. It looks like in the photos that the dock sites are rocky with no sand.(My son will play in the sand for hours.)
