December 8, 2019 at 6:10 pm #1896207I would suggest looking at a youtube video. It will help you determine how the assembly should be.

September 19, 2016 at 6:25 am #1640297Many of the bass pro’s made comments about how great the smallmouth fishing is on Mille Lacs. Some commented about all the walleyes that they caught also! one pro said over 100 in the three days!
As to smallmouth fish caught and brought in to be filleted. Well in what I saw in the buckets at The Red Door Resort this season. I dumped fewer smallmouth this season than last year. We had alot of customers fishing the smaller lakes in the area for pan fish. A few walleyes were kept also!!
Great photo of the dnr!! I think it’s prefect!!
June 19, 2016 at 7:39 am #1625231bigcrappie, don’t tell the MN DNR………they have been saying the lake is at a 30-40 year low??
Yes, the lake is not fished out! lots of fish to catch….but sad that we can’t eat a walleye once in awhile for a meal. I miss that……guess thats why my boat is sitting collecting spider web’s and my bait frig. is full of beer and NO BAIT
The DNR is killing off so much business around the lake….from the gas stations to cafe’s, hardware stores you name it. It’s a real downer
glad you had a good time! those few that are on the lake are enjoying it
April 20, 2016 at 7:05 am #1614658Congrats on your tanker!! that’s more than a wow….its a wowser!!!
April 15, 2016 at 7:17 am #1613615I welcome anyone to help with the lake cleanup after the season.
At the resort we pick up the blocks as many as possible. Garbage bags of waste and “human waste” yes….that’s right (poop) it’s left in the snow banks along side of the fish houses. Its unbelievable sometimes the crap they leave. I make a list and turn it into the office once we are done, not sure what happens after that? This last March we had three pickup beds full of blocking. And yes we missed some out there.
It’s too bad that we have some that don’t care about our lake we care so much about
April 7, 2016 at 3:58 pm #1612276I think the bottom line here is that there is no increased risk to the lake itself as the quota remains in place; however, the input committee worked with the local businesses to get a feel for whether they would rather increase the risk of having the lake shut down again or go continue with the no live bait ban. My gut feel is that most of the local businesses agree with this approach.
My only disappointment is that I wish the DNR would have held these discussions with the advisory committee before going “live” with the regulations.

Bingo…
