22meters per second?!! That’s incredibly fast. If that blade breaks at that speed, what keeps it from destroying everything around it? These are good posts. Thank you!

I saw a can of blackhorn 209 last week at Fleetfarm in lakeville but it was behind the counter. It did not say it was in stock when I checked online so maybe the Fleetfarm buy you might have some hidden. The kicker is that it is now sold as only eight ounces and Fleetfarm had it for $69.99 a can! Long ways away from $35 for 10ounces it was only a few years ago when you could find it.
August 31, 2022 at 12:44 pm #2144625Slabtown helped me out! Thank you all for your responses, hopefully we have deer on the ground soon!
August 30, 2022 at 6:01 pm #2144463CBMN, I’m only seeing the rifle sighted ones online, and for $100 more. Are you seeing the cantilevered online or actually in the stores? PM me if that is easier. Thank you!
August 30, 2022 at 5:48 pm #2144460Migz, just food for thought, Remington went bankrupt and Remarms is slowly producing Remington guns again… Fleet Farm has a mossberg 500 combo with a bird barrel, and a cantilever slug barrel and a junk scope for $370 and it looks like a few places in the metro have them in stock in 20 gauge…
I will look into that the mossberg 500 combo at fleet farm, that seems like a really good deal. Thank you for the heads up!
May 11, 2022 at 1:07 pm #2123632Thank you Chuck, I would be willing to drive for the right bike, it might just take me a little longer to get to you. Let me know what you find out. You can always direct message me any more of the information. Thank you!
May 11, 2022 at 12:45 pm #2123624No worries Bearcat, just let me know when your kids are done with the yz85 and we’ll call it even!
May 11, 2022 at 8:16 am #2123531Oh man I just sold a crf 110. And bought the kid a yz 85.
The only thing I can offer is a ssr 110 that needs brakes. Which I have. It’s not what your looking for but it runs great. 350 bucks and it’s yours
Shoot, the CRF110 would of been great! The SSR110 is just to tall for this little man for this year, thank you for the offer though!
December 12, 2021 at 7:33 pm #2080946I was hoping to have the kids use the shotgun for slug duty as well during the youth deer firearms season until they are big enough to use the muzzleloaders. So I’m thinking a pump would still be best for a 50 yard slug gun to. Still on the hunt and its okay if it goes into spring. Just drop me a line if you are thinking of letting a 870 youth go. Thank you.
December 12, 2021 at 5:44 pm #2080924I have the same problem and 4-5 years ago I bought a couple tubes of PL-400 construction adhesive and laid a thick 3/4” bead to created a water dam. It creates a big lake of water that I can squeegee out after my truck metals off. The 3rd stall no longer has water running into it under the boat. This was my cheap fix till I can have the cement redone.
December 9, 2021 at 1:11 pm #2080359I’ve reached out to the various retail suggestions and have only come up with semi-autos in youth 20 gauge. The hunt continues and I think I’ll stick to the 870 youth flavor.
December 8, 2021 at 12:18 pm #2080075All of the kids are righties so I got lucky there. I have called around on the Browning BPS Micro and those seem to been non-existent also. Thank you for the suggestions, I’ll keep my ear to the ground.
December 8, 2021 at 9:46 am #2080012I was able to talk to the guys at Cabin Fever, good guys there, they only have the youth Winchester SXP for a pump gun. When my oldest 11 year old shoulder it at a different place, he could not reach the front safety without moving his hand completely up on the grip. I would like a rear trigger guard safety.
I would agree that the mossberg just doesn’t feel as good as my 870express, I just need to have Remington start the youth model up again and hope it is good quality. I held the savage 320, I would like a little nicer of a gun to pass down. The Browning BPS mirco looks nice, not sure the kids can have a nicer gun then me! I’ll continue to look for a used youth 870, otherwise going the Browning route might be an option. Thank youDecember 8, 2021 at 8:30 am #2079974I’ll reach out to Cabin Fever today to see if they still have any, the last couple of shops haven’t seen any for a while. Thank you for the suggestion.
April 26, 2021 at 6:53 am #2032467I have a 2015 crewwmax tundra with a ARE CX topper. I can fit my otter x-over pro cabin in with the tail gate shut and topper back window down IF I prop up the front of the sled to rest on the bed/topper transition. This is a pain and could possibly damaged the front topper window if there was a sudden shift. I wish they made the crewmax with a 6″ longer bed.
February 5, 2020 at 9:03 am #1912732Thank you, I didn’t know there was a big heave there and that’s the input I was looking for.
January 3, 2020 at 9:44 am #1902956It will be a while before I’m up in St. Cloud again, would prefer local pick up. Have only cocked mine so far, hopefully I will get out this week end and see how loud it is. The scope seams fine for an air gun, hard to compare to my vortex diamondback HP scope on my muzzleloader.
April 8, 2019 at 1:21 pm #1849161I have used all of the Dead Eye Custom rods and I would definitely recommend the 6’8″ MXF. The Medium Light is a little bit lighter than St. Croix. I have not fished them with blade baits in particular but if I was going to the river to throw blades tomorrow the MXF would be the first rod I would grab.
Here’s a short video I did last fall pitching #7 Jig Raps with the 6’8 MXF

Pat, I’m going to mostly stay under the 3/8 ounce mark for blades on the Mississippi, you don’t think the 6’8″MXF will be too stout of a rod to work those blade baits? Thank you for you comments, I haven’t seen any reviews of these rods.
December 17, 2018 at 12:53 pm #1818461Hunter,
These three Crazies would love a chance to sleep on the ice and try their luck at some Walleyes. They promise to draw you a cool drawing of their experience if selected. Thank you for your generous offer!Attachments:
March 6, 2018 at 3:12 pm #1757563If you are handy with a soldering iron you could put these in series and run leads down to a 12v battery and you would be good to go. I’ve used them on my otter cabin all winter and they work great. They look almost identical to the otter lights.

February 8, 2018 at 12:07 pm #1750869Thank you for the confirmation that its normal. Wasn’t sure what weight of fluid was being used. Is there any maintenance issues that I should be checking every year on my steering system or is it something you just leave alone?

The XT Cabin Pro has a grey sled, XT is a black sled.
This helps brighten up the interior.ok. if so this is new then. my otter is circa 2014 or 2015 – the year before they released the grey sled model
Must be new, mine is from last winter so 2016 model.
November 16, 2017 at 2:53 pm #1728557The problem with the flip-up cushion seat from Otter is that you have to bolt it in and it doesn’t use the existing mounting system that the swivel seats use. I wanted to slid the chairs off and slid the bench on with no more holes or hardware in the sled to keep it a clean installation.
