Those black and blue shad look awesome. I can imagine the crappies this spring will not be able to resist them.
NICE WORK

My choice would be a Alumacraft competitor with a Yamaha 150.
Good Luck
Quality products from Filson. Not cheap but very durable.
Good luck
Ariens would be my recommendation.
I have a Snapper and the damn thing leaks snow out he shute and freezes on the machine, I spoke with the dealer and Snapper sent a plastics sticky to place on the shute and it still leaks snow on the machine.
Pretty poor engineering to say the least.
Good luck
If you are interested in a secure parking spot, I live 10 miles west of Clear Lake on a farm and you are welcome to park a vehicle at my place.
PM me if interested.
X2 on the drain plug gasket.
Had the same issue, new gasket.problem solved.
Hopefully it’s no more than $.50 gasket.
Good Luck
Wishing the best to you and your father.
Prayer sent for your fathers return to good health.
Was on Mille Lacs July 1,2,3 and fished smallmouth. We had the best luck on topwater lures and tubes with 1/8 jigs heads.
The fish we located were on rocks and we just searched the marked rock piles. We fish from Isle to Cedar Creek access and west to Spider island.
Seemed that most rocks structure has a few smallmouth.
Most fish were 18″ to 21″ with only a couple 15″, which surprised us as we thought the smaller fish would have been more common.
Good Luck
Thank you for all the input.
IDO guys are always helpful. COOL
I never would have considered Wright McGill, I’ll look into that product.
I have good luck with Shimano spinning reels but interested into researching other casting reels.
Thanks again
Had the same issue last summer, which batteries to purchase?
Did lots of research and ended up purchasing two of the Sears Platinum batteries.
I also purchase a Sears platinum charger that was recommended to adequately charge the batteries .
I like the fact the batteries are sealed and will not leak acid.
Have not enough time since last August to weigh in on how well they will perform, so far so good, but time will tell.
From what I found they are a good option to the typical lead acid battery at Walmart or Fleet Farm.
They are expensive, but the estimated a life of 6-8 years could make them worth it.
Guess it comes down to how much you want to spend.
Just my option
Hope others will chime in and help you out.

I am interested in your environmental concern regarding the Driftless area of NE Iowa and SE Minnesota and SW Wisc.
I have fished the trout streams in the area for years.
I’ve seen comments regarding the mining of frack sand in the area but never heard of extraction of tar sands oil from the area.
Could you share the link for the article your referencing?
You might not have had a 10% mixture.
My small engine mechanic believes that the mix ratio at gas stations varies quite a bit.
He has tested gas in small engines and it can vary up to as much as 18% ethanol. Not a good thing for small engines.
I will not burn any ethanol mix in my outboards or lawn equipment.
As another senior it’s fun to remember all the changes to this great pastime.
Back in the 50’s if you collected enough Wheaties box tops you could send $3.00 and the box tops and get a Johnson Century spin cast reel. With that reel it allowed casting all those lures without the backlash issues.
I still have one of those reels.
One thing that doesn’t change is the excitement one feels when you get a bite on the end of your line.
Thanks for taking me back to the good old days.
Very nice fish. Congratulations
The Cedar can kick out some nice walleye, and with the low water the fish should be a little easier to locate.
I like black, because it shows up well again a bright sky.
Showed my 14 yr old grandson how to fish frogs this summer and we sure had a boat load of fun.
When I mentioned we going to use scum frogs he laughed, but sure believes in them now.
Good Luck
I experienced the same problem, was treated at Mayo Clinic. the treatment was steroids but you need to see a doctor as it could be other things as Suzuki mentioned.
Good luck
Prayers sent.
Hope all turns out well.
Went thru the same sudden hearing loss thing as Pro V Al.
Steriods treatment for 10 days and the hearing returned.
Know the place also, my Dad lived in Gays Mills for a time and spent many a day throwing a white twister along the wall catching Northern and Walleye.
He’s gone now, but the picture brings back the memories of him fishing there.
I too love trout fishing, but I also fish walleye and other species.
It’s just great to go fishing………………
Thank you for the report on Pool 9.
Lots of good fishing opportunities when fishing “The River”.

Great time of the year for fly tying.
Looks like an interesting pattern.
I’ll have to give it try
Thanks for sharing
I have had the same problem with the exact transducer. Used two part marine epoxy from Fleet Farm with good success. Let the epxoy set-up for 24 hours before moving the transducer.
Good luck
